As soon as a company starts pumping the propaganda on Director’s Talk you know what’s coming. This morning, AIM pig dog Golden Saint Resources (GSR) published an entertainingly inept corporate video. If you have eight minutes to kill this lunchtime it is worth a watch. You will quickly become a pointless trivia expert on the climate of Sierra Leone and Executive Chairman Cyril D’Silva’s bizarre way of describing years by using each individual number. You will learn next to nothing about the company or its projects. A cynic might suggest this is because there isn’t much worthwhile to say about either…

Thanks for another entertaining and informative article.

Do folks really have to wonder why Jeremy Corbyn is garnering such tremendous support from inside and outside the Labour Party, with the greedy useless idle fat cats, as illustrated by the likes of Mr D’Silva running so many British companies?

The actions of many Directors and CEO’s, from the smallest to the largest of our PLC’s have done more than anything or anyone in helping catapult the emergence of real credible socialist policies onto the political agenda, as their never ending greed for monetary rewards for themselves, earns ever more contempt and disgust from society as a whole.

Just as the excesses of Trade Union Barons of the 70’s repulsed the majority of the British people into voting for Thatcher, leading to forty years of virtually unbridled capitalism, today’s Fat Cats will have achieved for Socialism.

I rather enjoyed the video. It was more educational and more entertaining than most – but the “director” should have told Cyril not to slouch when addressing his shareholders. And did we not learn that GS are just about to sell their first big bag of diamonds (and so could not possibly need any more funds)?

…Unless of course, they aren’t and they do.
