Bank Holiday Bulletin Board Moron of the week (and last week's winner)

Is there no limit to the stupidity of some folks who post comments about shares on Bulletin Boards? And why do the morons all appear to own the same stocks in their portfolios of death? Worthington, Afren, Daniel Stewart, Quindell - will they all pile into Rangers FC when it relists? Probably only if Rob Terry takes a stake. In this shortened week I invite you to post the daftest and most inane comment you find about shares on twitter or on a Bulletin Board in the comments section below. The deadline is Sunday at midnight.

    MMDP,

keep up the good work as, the paid naysayers ( minimum wage ) will increase posts to earn a few extra bob, trying to destabilise the company and its shareholders.

The companies wanting in our superb asset will stop at nothing to knock £billions off our asset worth using a few scumbags on minimum wage to assist.

“ Power currupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely “

Morning Jeremy, will be interesting to see TWs Bearcast a bit later. I have a strong feeling he was in receipt of a letter by Eversheds wich prompted his turnaround yesterday and we might just see another little piece from him given the conceited manner in which he spoke. Lets see.

Infact he has said far worse things about you proper fool / tool .

  3. Brotherhumble on LSE at 8.28 on Sunday 30 Aug thinks that if Quindell return £500 million to shareholders and the morons reinvest 50% of that in QPP shares then Quindle end up getting £250 million back on their balance sheet, dimwit ;

    Quote :
‘For argument sake if we take it as red that the 500m capital return goes through, as I fully expect it to, and the new Telematics company is up and running hopefully with a few contracts locked down to drive the impetus forward, I can imagine a significant part of the BOD’s methodology to generate cash will be reliant on a large percentage of the capital return recipients ploughing their cash straight back into the new business. If say half the cash came back….that’s 250m right back in their laps. Being a devils advocate for a moment, I’m intrigued to know in reality what kind of numbers of tied investors would actually return the cash?. Personally, I think many, in particularly those that have lost or are looking at huge paper losses might be weary and bank their cash and just rely on the progress of their ‘ free technology shares’ to outperform. Returning to the sentiment thing again, if say the majority decided not to reinvest the capital I believe the markets would view this negatively and perhaps the seriel naysayers and BS merchants like ‘ Darke’ have this scenario in mind. If long term investors did return the majority of the cash this would signal a huge boost of confidence and subsequent positive market reaction as others join the party. I’m sure the BOD are confident of a significant amount of the cash coming streight back and are thinking they have absolutely no need to toy with alternative ideas around the capital return, some might suggest that it’s a high risk strategy, because investors don’t always read the script. From a personal perspective and when the dust has settled I think maybe 200m might be returned immediately, would that be seen as positive …..I don’t know.’

  4. Not from a BB but City AM:

“It’s a joke. They don’t know what they’re doing,” Alastair Winter, chief economist at City broker Daniel Stewart & Co.

This pearler was apparently not referring to AIM “regulation”, but the Chinese authorities!

RE: If Terry sells any Dan
    Today 01:31

    Hi aussiegold. All good, thanks.

Well, I’ve been done over by some very plausible characters in AIM. The difference with RT is that he has always inspired loyalty from the people who worked with him. You don’t get to do that, over 10-15 years unless you are straight with them, IMHO. These are people I have spent time with and discussed RT and QPP with, at length..

Look at TIG, RT’s first big “failure”, being bought by Carlyle at a premium. Look at QPP. It could easily have got there, if it wasn’t for the Gotham Trash, the shorting conspiracy and the “financial journalists”. Wait and see what SGH make of PSD. Wait and see what QPP makes of telematics.

The new board has kitchen sinked the accounts. Of course, anyone would. Their achievements will be so much grater, rising from the ashes. The old board made statements based on assumptions that turned out to be inaccurate. I think the SFO is certainly an untimely distraction. Let’s hope they work efficiently, so we can draw a line under this and move on.

Luck wished is gratefully received. Thanks and the same to you.

LSE. Brotherhumble, the chief ramper & QPP / RT apologist takes a break from promoting DAN & IMTK to educate a doubting Thomas who was banned by LSE for a year for saying naughty things had happened at QPP. Apparently, LSE now is OK with people saying QPP was a fraud & RT was a crook.

Buzzligtyear123, I can’t do the beating round the bush thing too good. Look if you got a reprieve after originally sledging criminal and fraudulent activities had been committed and with supposed new evidence they recinded this year ban ……they must be tripping. No criminal or fraudulent evidence have come to light so your assertions and original ban should have stood. Lots of hysterical stuff have been aledged but wild unsubstantiated accusations are pointless.

I invested a ridiculous amount and have an average of £4.00 as was unable to average down having ignored all common sense and gone ‘all in.’ I would like to think that at the point of the capital return being realised we should have a much clearer picture as to where Mr Mukergee intends taking this company. If it starts to feel like a tangible recovery play than I’ll be tempted to re-invest the lump sum in order to try and re-coup some losses a little sooner. Whilst some will be screaming ‘WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?’ after the 18 months I’ve had I feel the tide has to turn and as many have said this could recover quite rapidly with some positive news!!

  8. ON the Worthington board there wasa great comment from Picto when it was suggested it was a scam.

‘who is being scammed. Its not the shareholders, as we bought our shares from other shareholdes so the company doesn’t have our money.’

    Bordersman
    Today 08:25

Bordersman, I know your absolutely convinced that QPP gave away the Crown Jewels for peanuts and we now enter uchartered territories, but what could have been has gone and now assigned to the past along with others famous pr myths like the famous ‘ Custers last stand’ in which claims of technically astuteness and brave cavalry men fighting for days against unsermounting odds.

When the real truth emerged, those troops died needlessly and as a result of Custers arrogance and refusal to take ( what would have been life saving advice) from Crow Indian scouts working for him who strongly advised against his plan to spilt he’s division and attack. Embarrasingly it emerged that Custer was actually out strategised by supposed ( primitive Indians) when the Sioux actually employed a pincer movement that entrapped he’s men and saw the division wiped out in less than 30 mins, not the John Wayne near two day hero version that had every little kid and many adults actually taken in by a massive ( PR hoodwink) that was only exposed when surviving Indians from the battle years latter started to tell the true story with editorial licence.

Ok some are saying ….what’s this got to do with QPP, I’m just pointing out that I think it’s a myth that QPP would have reached the great highs forecast by Boredersman and the Custer bit was thrown in because I know Boredersman is a bit of a historian.

  10. No original contribution from me, but “if we take it as red” from BOOFIT’S post made me giggle

Custer didnt have QPP shares. Nor did Bonnie Prince Charlie. However I have been in army exercise ( Woz leading the enemy in retreat) over the moors south of Elgin. Mounted an ambush at 1.30 am as 200 ( highland QOH awks) forded a river ( i had guessed which was the most likely place) and half of them fell in when we opened up with blank machine guns / schemoolies etc. Quite funny but the Colonel who fell in and has hospitalised was furious. It did allow me to become well acquainted with the route Butcher Cumberland took form Aberdeen to Culloden. There were 3 places a sneeky jacobite ambush would have easily changed history. Silly man was too honourable. Scenario might have been – no US war of independance. Alaska might have been still Russian. No Canada . Communist revolution in UK. Meanwhile now that SGH has the WIP that is going to spin out nice big profits jump and SGH PE has halved. SGh is looking big and dull and profitable ….and adequately financed with lots of gearing ….and a a a big profits jump ahead. It is also true that in the rhododendron bushes, 5 miles from Balmoral , a fellow awk was once hid. Hid as he was, he was waiting to ambush some other awks on a small army exercise. He heard a noise and leaped out of his bush with a few other awks, all camouflaged up ( you know black and green facepaint) clutching rifles . OMG and gollygosh he had leaped out on the path on which HM the Queen was walking fer doggies on her own. Not many know that but its true. HM was not very chuffed. Meanwhile it has never been a very bad idea to buy shares in a company where profits are predicted to rise quite a lot , especially when the SP has halved. History shows it has always been a difficult to be wholehearted when investing in a company where there is smoke and mist about. Trust me i would like to be a believer in the brave new world. I really want to believe in £1.12 cash distribution but it isnt history yet. There is no doubt telematics and the internet of things will be huge and that QPP may have a slice of the growth ahead. Little to analyse so as yet I can only see mist. and lovely probity . mel
