Bulletin Board Moron of the Week – back again: this is fun

Afren may be in administration but some Bulletin Board Morons see upside for the shares. Other morons want Chris Oil to join the board at Sefton while others regard the FCA and SFO enquiries into Quindell as good news for Rob Terry. Meanwhile Worthington news must be imminent but for the morons no news is good news while news will also be good news. You can’t make this stuff up. And so let’s have another contest this week, as the Victorians visited asylums to peer at the insane we marvel at the Morons in the LSE and ADVFN asylums. You can see the full variety of insanity from last week HERE - The winner of last week’s contest was Juicin Drumroll with this gem from the LSE Asylum:

Another pointless post from the VILE POSTER “twgweenyteeth” on the QPP Board – WHY don’t you talk about Steamy’s/Jimi Marshall/Longtermholders £15 prediction for XMAS 2014??? – Not allowed to post anything bad about the dear leader?? Steamy was only £14.54 WRONG where as Tom was only 46p out. STILL no criticism of QPPSAG who formed when share price was over £2 – WHAT’s the price now twg???? LONG AND STRONG – HAHAHAHAHAH

“well according to a very unsuccessful and complete FAY LURE of a blogger, QPP went bust xmas 2014.
How about reading the RNS’S above….. might just help you keep informed.

My feeling is oversold, I paid 4.7p instead of 80p, 45p one year ago.
Its option money, I expect a nice bounce. Today, investors who paid a lot higher price, through in the towel. Directors in April this year paid 13p – 14p.
One bought 500,000. In cheaper than directors, thats a nice cushion.

View Thread (2)RE: AdministrationToday 09:04Well the first video I found on google on company administration says the company may be sold to the directors. They have been trying to get the supposed “worthless” shares every which way could but failed. This whole thing could be just another attempt. They want it, and want it bad. Looks like they could succeed.

PhiloBeddoe – WRN Board on the LSE – I presume he is joking.

“Call me an optomist but I’ve never felt so happy to be invested in a company as I do with wrn. It gives me a very real sense of hope that my days of paying the mortgage may soon be over and thats a very nice thought that keeps me smiling through suspension. I also like the fact doug and others in his circle own large % of wrn as this shows they clearly have a lot of confidence at the top and are expecting very big things in the not too distant future”

It is true that he (RT) has been a bit aggressive in his reporting of the shares, but you do have to agree that RT got a knack for turning small business into big global enterprises. QPP after all this is worth a staggering 600m atleast, that is no small money.
If we take IMTK for instance it already has major contracts with many high end clients, with a visionary like RT behind it, only good will come to its share price and mcap, which currently stands at less than 7 million, a much undervalued share in my opinion.

    I smell furry paws, but:

It is important WHERE WE ARE TODAY
It is not so important HOW WE GOT HERE

We all accept (furry or Long) that there have been troubles and problems en route.
That is why the SP has been lower than hoped for in recent times.

The Balance Sheet position must be the strongest on AIM today knowing QPP has no debt (current trade stuff aside, small) but there is substantial cash on deposit. Plus subsidiaries moving forward into new markets.

The S&G Sale was a stroke of genius (DC and colleagues) enabling a clean-up of our Act and a re-funding for the future of Hi Tek ventures.

As far as I’m concerned the company can keep my substantial expected Capital Return in exchange for special priced ‘loyalty’ shares. BoD please consider. No other AIM company has made such a solid recovery to my knowledge. Institutional Investors will start chipping away at QPP shares now, no question.

I still expect SP of £4 during Q1 2016 including the Capital Refund.

Re: FraudToday 16:59A lot of headless chockens have missed the point that it is an investigation. There is absolutely nothing to suggest anybody will be found guilty of unlawful practice and if they are there is even less to suggest it could be more than a fine.
As you say, two experienced and respected companies have watched over this and it seems, found nothing.

Even if there is anything, it would have to be very serious to warrant a custodial sentence and of course, would be historic.

Of course, if there is no fraud found, a certain “journalist” might then be the one sweating.

(RNS) Reads far better than many will have expected…myself included.

    Add to this:-

    - A CEO with proven industry knowledge & vision
    - New broker
    - New broker’s note
    - Detail on contracts & wins

I’m happy to let the rest dribble on in the background whilst we make money on the recovery.

overall, the adjustments that RT could be made responsible for account for £30.5m out of £987m.

£30.5m!! Its hardly worth RT commiting fraud for that is it? All transactions between the business units were treated in the same manner i.e. all sales were invoiced and purchases were charged to the accounts.. accounts were consistent throughout which does not suggest any intention to “cover-up”. Also, in the case of ACH, the balance results in an overall loss of revenues recognised.

SFO have to investigate due to massive restatements but in my opinion, RT has nothing to worry about.
Time is up for the derampers to convice me otherwise. GLA.

  19. QPP may now have admitted that most of the allegations made against it by Gotham City and Tom Winnifrith were in fact true but that’s not going to deter some who remain convinced the company was just fine save for some wicked shorters. How about this gem posted by “Weblogic” on Interactive Investor:

“The word is that they were fed information by `insiders` and `traitors`, and dark shadowy figures, whose purpose was to besmirch QPP, and cash the ship…. The damage these parties have done to QPP business is incalculable… So QPP called there bluff in a British court, and those cowards, whose only real interest was exploitation, so they could play the shorting markets to make vast fortunes for themselves, went into hiding…and failed to show up in court. A complete disregard for British justice, and seeing as QPP is listed on UK markets, it was a sensible place to challenge those villains.. Do you really think those SPIVZZS had any interest in the shareholders….not one jot. They simply ruthlessly exploited a system of short selling, which is utterly corrupt and should be banned, to make themselves very rich… No, the previous directors probably did play outside the normal rules…maybe they had to in order to survive the horrendous onslaught from the cowboys and mavericks that were gunning for there blood..”

Sold all my shares I have everywhere, this morning to pump back into Qpp. These prices are ridiculous the money is in the bank and cannot be touched there can be no finds as QLS and QPP have always been separate identities and now QLS has gone. DAN was my number one pick on the AIM, now this is, hence me selling my DAN shares.

    Juicin Drumroll,

You’ll find that Leonstrade admitted that he didn’t have any inside info but got all his info from twitter. Notice how all the usual fuckwits are buying more at these fantastic levels (Grumpyscouser, K3VMC etc). Ofcourse they all have £10000s of spare cash just sitting around.

I see the VILE POSTER twgweenyteeth is still obsessing about TW – wonder if he posts when his mammy and daddy leave the house as he’s obviously a very disturbed immature little man-child judging by his childish and repetitive posts. Virtually all his posts about TW and nothing on RT and the fraud. HOW much have you lost TWG?? Did you enjoy you 1 week ban recently???

    Has fraud happened?

    1. If I had committed fraud or had something to hide the last thing I would do is put my assets in companies such as QPP, DAN and IMTK. I would hide my assets from the authorities.

RT if he has committed fraud would be hiding his assets. He hasn’t so if convicted of fraud the assets would be subject of a confiscation order and could be easily seized.

It is obvious RT is not concerned and believes he hasn’t committed fraud.

    2. If QPP with an army of advisors / experts haven’t uncovered fraud what chance have the SFO?

    3. If a major fraud committed why do we have £600m + in the bank?

    4. Any alleged fraud relates to the past. I’m interested in the future. Any SFO action will be against individuals (I believe) rather than QPP. As an investor in the company why should I be concerned?

In time this will all blow over and RT will continue doing what he does, running businesses / making money and QPP will move on.

  23. From Share Prophets Thierry Laduguie 06/08/215 Bank of England announcement could hit the FTSE 100

Sorry Thierry, but it’s a winner.

I quote in part (last part)

“The FTSE is in the midst of wave c (circle) which is the third leg inside wave 2. So far wave 2 has retraced more than 50% of wave 1, the 34-day BTI is rising and pulling away from oversold as you would expect in a multi-week rally. I don’t expect this indicator to become overbought at the end of wave 2 because the move is counter trend, it is well underway and time is running out. A counter trend move is weaker than a move with the trend, I am talking about the long term trend which is down. In the short term the trend is up and wave 2 will be complete after a larger upward retracement, the move should end above the top of wave a (circle) as the pattern is a zigzag. This level is 6813.5. A possible target is in the range 6850-6900.”

    Err:?

ADVFN naivety. He has a certain childlike simplicity / stupidity.

    LiquidKid 6 Aug’15 – 12:40 – 9796 of 9798 0 0

    This is not hypothetical

Shareholders invested in QPP so it could grow, then it sold a part of it for a
lot of money, it has now restated accounts, any money left belongs to shareholders.
No one else has a claim on this money, It’s not going to get “stuck in the system” or law suits or seized by the cops. It is the shareholders money. End of.

  25. Juicin Drumroll

Your guy said there were only 100 bricks but I built a brick shit house with the 1100 bricks that were delivered. but my nosy neighbour said that I only had planning permission for 900 bricks, then this idiot passerby said it was only worth 500 bricks so I sold to an aussie as a bbq for 2000 bricks……

No that is ok let me continue…
So this friggin nutcase, that idiot I mentioned, calls the cops and I start brickin it so I get a lawyer who turns out to be a mate of that Aussie who’s quite happy with his brick shit house bbq (his neighbours are pissed off though) and then the accountant starts going through the invoices because he is hearing voices in his head that there are bricks missing, and that it is not possible to build something with that many bricks so he writes off 200 bricks but the legal guru was saying that 300 bricks need rehypothecating. Then someone picked up 1 brick…. it was just 1 brick…another brick in the wall…

The bank loaned me enough to buy 1000 bricks and I did what I said which was to build brick things so they had the deeds to the B.S. House till I paid them back in bricks. So this 2000 bricks is sitting in a stack in the bank – who’s is it? the guy who got hit by falling bricks or building control the cops? who’s is it?

    Conspiracy theory
    Today 11:05

The only way to get this so low was to make people think the return of capital was at risk. Two ways of doing this are SFO – TW has said on many occasions that he contacted the SFO to investigate Quindell. Another way would be to start a group claim against QPP, we all know they won’t be successful but the risk is there, personally I think this idea also stemmed from Clerkenwell. Maybe I give the guy too much credit but he does have a serious axe to grind. Happy to keep my remaining capital in now and see how it all pans out. Gla

Did Gotham cause Quindell to fall !

We all know where Quindell is today, however what we will never know is where would Quindell be without Gotham.
Without the Gotham put down the company could well have been fully active in America and beyond,RAC deal in place and earning buckets of cash.

It has been near 18 months since the Gotham attack and with all that has gone on the business must have been drastically affected by all the attacks.

It has been easy for all the doomsters to say I told you so, but one can argue that Gotham /TW and all caused the situation and brought down what could have been a great company. Ok one can say the accounting was aggressive and the goodwill to high which is easy to say as the company is today, however had the company continued on with no attacks it would probably have gone from strength to strength and the accounting policies may have been correct.

We will never know, but the blogging attacks have caused severe distress to the company in its ability to do business and a large loss to shareholders. Any company, no matter how good, cannot withstand sustained attacks like Quindell had, and this worrys me for the future of any listed company as it can occur anytime.
RT would no doubt argue that this has been the case and maybe he is right.

What are the views on this.

This BB has been full of trolls over the last 12 months, I believe a lot of them hail from clerkenwell. imo Gotham etc saw an error in the way the accounts were done and tore the company apart. Lets see the picture in a year or so before we start with who was right and who was wrong, if S&G UK business is flying in 2 years time we will know it was a solid business after all

  33. zeronegative

An old one from Steamy/Longtermholder/Jimi Marshall/QPPSAG dear leader about QPP. What a star investor he is – they all came true – NOT!

    1) we have an exceptional trading statement due.
    2) we can expect details of an application for the main listing.
    3) we can expect details of the plan for a dual listing.
    4) we can expect news of new significant contract wins.
    5) we can expect news of contract renewals.
    6) we can expect news of strong business in Europe and the US.
    7) we can expect details of an emerging business in the Middle East and Asia.
    8) we can expect news of a possible Dividend return.
    9) we can expect details of the expansion of telematics and of particular importance is the developments of Himex.
    10) following these announcements we can expect broker upgrades.
    11) we can expect significant new II investment ahead of and following entry onto the main listing.
    12) we can expect significant media coverage.

So then folks. March sure does promise to be a fantastic month for Quindell (LON:QPP). Anybody thinking of selling really does need to consider the benefits of flirting with a 1 or 2p gain in the short term against the dangers of missing the boat as it set sells to a new high. Personally I am going to sit back and enjoy the month as we sail through the 30s and hopefully through the 40s. Quindell is a game changer and one that will lead to us breaking the £1 barrier later this year. Fantastic times ahead. Good luck to all those invested.

“RT is a visionery. The vision has been pointed out so i am suggesting RTs job is 75% done.. let him go to jail if the british juditiary system wants to send an innocent man down. If RT is not smart enough to dodge evry bullet fired at him during this investigation then maybe i have overestimated his intelligence until then RT WILL BE ABLE TO JUSTIFY HIS EVERY DECISION AND MOTIVE WHILST IN CHARGE OF QUINDELL.”
