I’ve been looking into Asian Citrus Holdings and it turns out that this company is exceptionally interesting and quite weird. Ultimately, I now believe that the company is uninvestable. In this post I will show you some things you may have overlooked and present a far more complex and confusing company than you may have expected (there is more to it than just oranges). There are a huge number of red flags here. Personally, I would not tip these shares at any price.

I’ve got more oranges and lemons in my fruit basket than this ‘company’ grows! I’d guess, that my bank balance, might be a bit healthier, too!
As in 99.99% of these cash rich immensely profitable Chinese companies, from this province….. they ought to come with a wealth warning as they are nothing more than a scam, to rob the naive, stupid or greedy.
Why the AIM authorities refuse to act against these blatant obscenities of so called ‘businesses’ and seem perfectly content to allow the financial rape of private investors, at the hands of criminal fraudsters ….. defies belief and totally indefensible!

Yes, doubled on no news….so I took the opportunity to get out having already ridden it down from when it was first tipped by Investors Chronicle. Fortunately the recent price rise enabled me to buy a whole multi-pack of crisps with the proceeds. It sounded like a fine idea at the time…Oranges, Juice factory, massive China market…what could go wrong?….hmm…seems like everything imaginable has. Not touching anything on AIM from China from now on, lesson learned the hard way. Thanks for the detailed article. Just wish Investors Chronicle had half of what was covered here, then maybe I would have stayed well clear.

The folk at IC and a certain ‘ace tipster’ employed by the said august publication, ought to hold their heads down in shame regarding their blatant ramping and promotion of the Fujian Province frauds!
Even when respected forensic financial reporter, Tom Winnifrith, here on ShareProphets, started writing and bearcasting his concerns at the numerous red flags warnings displayed by these Chinese ‘businessess’, the now proven arrogant Investors Chronicle chose to ignore him! And then, even to the detriment of their readers wealth, still continued to promote and egg on further investment into these Chinese POS, despite the now growing army of financial observers confirming and agreeing with Tom Winnifrith’s research!
I guess this is, one of the reasons to why I read and support the folk at ShareProphets and choose not to subscribe to the IC.

Thanks ALCIRA, bought in 2012 at 31.5p and sold 10.05p lost about 800 quid on that misadventure. IC’s tipsters also led me towards investing in the fantastic opportunities available in the hazardous waste handling industries…….Silverdell. Lost the lot on that turkey (1.2k) and it was the great coverage of that saga that introduced me to TW and the Shareprophets site, so there was a small positive outcome. Before I had wrongly assumed that the markets were fairly well regulated,… now that I know it’s a complete casino, I will be much more cautious. Happy investing!

Finally managed to read this – respect Connor. I do love the subsidiary/connected enterprise names – “Genuine Enterprise” (so that’s all right then), “Top Honest Holdings” (I feel a whole lot better about mgt paying more than the ACHL market cap for a factory adding a fraction to existing production now), “Access Fortune” (hehe looks like we’re straight off to the bank? that does include UK shareholders right?). Beats Enron’s Chewco SPV name – at least they have a sense of humour…
