Oh dear. Those following flip flop pitchfork Ben Turney and the loons on the LSE asylum and filling their boots with New World at up to 0.85p ahead of “The biggest bear squeeze in history” have today done their conkers. The shares have crashed by more than 60% to just 0.16p bid thanks to two announcements. Ouch, how does it feel being skewered on your own pitchfork? Ask Ben.

Hasn’t the takeover panel just confirmed in writing that there has been a false market and that it’s not a problem ?

In the unlikely event that the SP remains above 0.055p for that long then the open offer could be fully subscribed — by PIs looking to pre-flip. But since no-one in their right mind will be buying on the open market, the flippers won’t have much of a window of opportunity.

To be fair, Ben Turney did write that people should not buy NWO shares as the market was so unpredictable and volatile. In fact, absolutely no one at Shareprophets suggested buying the wretched things.

What an almightly mess!!
Both the situation at NEW re: shares issues and all the Chris Oil, BMD and Ben Turney posts and tweets re Tom and ShareProphets. I am unsure what is right, who is right and who to believe at the moment. Aaargghhh!!!
A shame that the fallout has occured though, as all parties have alot to offer. Lets hope all people do the right thing in their own view and remain transparent all the way
