Today’s announcement from Afren (AFR) is a total shocker at every level. It is clear that the Bulletin Board Morons really do not get this as the level of delusion in their comments has reached new heights. These shares should be trading at 1p or less. And the apologies should be flowing.

Honesty is the best policy, thank you Tom, waseem and Lucian. I have only been using share prophets 4/5 weeks now and it’s a breath of fresh air. I can honestly say I never dawned on me how crooked these companies are. I’m just thankful somebody’s got my back.

You and Was got this badly wrong! even your gloomiest predictions were not this bad!

What happened to the Chinese investor who was going to bail this out. Smells like a particularly nasty piece of Market Abuse to suck in naïve BBMs. I feel a detailed examination of the shareholder registers around that period is needed.
