Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
Both of these stocks were Bulletin Board darlings and both will ultimately deliver either total or near total wipe-out for shareholders. It just struck me that they have other things in common. And the price action as death approaches is the most striking.

I notice that the fund manager of the year favourite Mr Dobell’s, M & G Recovery are big holders, some 41 million shares (12.4%).
Apparently desperate private investors have been trying to contact him, to initiate an EGM.
Seem’s as if M & G’s poor performance is set to continue with yet another of his investment dogs looking to being put down.

Is there anyone at home in the cosy offices of the FCA, I suspect not or its full of Homer Simpson clones trying to figure out what they are meant to be doing. If the FCA cannot be urged to take action after your own complaints to them about market abuse what chance is there of them taking notice of a bulletin board tosser, I can imagine the conversation “ heres an email from Jonathon Lewis with an accusation about that Tom Winnifrith demanding urgent action, what should we do” ? “ Go back to sleep Lampwyck it will be hometime in seven and a half hours “.

Tom – Don’t think you can say African Minerals is a BB darling. A lot of people have been stuck in there for over a year, myself included, and stupidly thinking that it might pull-through based on some RNS’s that did not disclose all the financial woes. Don’t think it’s ever been a ‘darling’ touted to make people’s fortunes but a company caught up in what seemed to be a perfect storm of dropping Iron Ore prices and Ebola but has also been subjected to some financial skullduggery maybe of a Chinese nature.
