In 2024 “Lebanese and Middle Eastern inspired restaurants” group Comptoir (COM) was “pleased to announce the appointment of James Fisher as Finance Director… finalises the restructure of the senior leadership team”, now it’s “pleased to announce that Nathan Portelli, who is currently Head of Finance, will move into the Finance Director role later in the year… James Fisher has informed the board of his intention to step down as Finance Director”. How ‘pleasing’ really is this then?
