Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
On Friday, shareholders in Union Jack Oil get to vote to sack the board at an AGM where both myself and Peter "fagash" Brailey will be attending. ShareProphets has been Union Jack Oil’s (UJO) case since 2019. Its shares have collapsed and its only response was to waste shareholders cash investigating myself, fagash and fagash's girlfriend, as the board enriched themselves. Here are the 32 most gruesome stories.
Tom recently revealed that an AIM company had apparently spent £40,000 investigating the background of a journalist on this site. I understand the revolting dossier included details of the writer, his partner and his Ex and his business. The report was trying to pin the leaking of this companies’ placings on an individual, and doing so in a very nasty way. I have not seen the report. Tom has it and has let me know the highlights. So, Mr David Bramhill, of Union Jack Oil (UJO), step forward and take the honours. You investigated me with your £40,000 Private Investigators. You, Mr Bramhill, are a xxxx — and I make no apologies for that language. You are Scum.
My big trouble in life is that I am a charitable soul and, as thirsty share bloggers know, bend over backwards to see the best in folks. Others are far less charitable. That brings me to a now deleted tweet from Chris Oil from 1.07 PM on Wednesday 20th February on Union Jack Oil (UJO). Chris may have thought that history was erased but a co-conspirator has preserved the golden prose below:interest and might almost be seen as independent. He seems to like the shares.
I have been sent a new document sent by corporate spooks Fortisat to its client Union Jack Oil (UJO), “Investigation Update Report” 22nd October. It is utterly damning and suggests that the company was aware and sanctioning activity which is a clear breach of the rules set out by the Information Commissioner, not to say utterly creepy. Resignations or sackings must surely result from this expose. In today's article I shall name some of those targetted by Union Jack and is shameless boss David Bramhill.
As Peter disclosed earlier this week he is the journalist on this website that Union Jack Oil (UJO) paid the bastards at Fortisat to compile a dossier on with all sorts of very personal information plus ludicrous assertions. David Bramhill, the now disgraced, boss of Union Jack has admitted that there are around 20 such dossiers. Peter has now written, as you can see in a redacted manner to protect private addresses and phone numbers, to Union Jack demanding that it hand him any of the 20 dossiers which mention him. David Bramhill promises me ...
Just when you thought that the scandal of Union Jack Oil (UJO) blowing £45,000 to produce reports containing creepy personal details, factual errors and no conclusions of import on journalists and its own shareholders could not get any worse, it does.
I am told that Union Jack Oil (UJO) is preparing an RNS attacking Craig Howie and his call to sack the greedy and useless board. We know that Howie will win the AGM vote so the cost of the board fighting him is just money wasted as the troughers try to prolong their troughing. Howie has however got in first with a letter going out today to shareholders. It reads:
This morning a TR1 came in showing that ex Union Jack Oil (UJO) director Craig Howie had upped his stake to 9.2%. Ther board hold SFA shares with c90% of the equity spread to the four winds of BBM land by numerous bailout placings. Howie has been touch with an explicit threat. He writes:
Union Jack Oil (UJO), the company that bought an eighty grand Porsche for the gimp who runs its X account, spent shareholders cash on spook to troll its own shareholders and journalists including me, and where the board troughs salaries and expenses on an industrial scale needs to hold a its AGM in the summer. The company has signed up to the QCA best practice guide which means that ALL directors should be up for reelection. The chances of it actually doing that? Nil.
Craig Howie says that he has been overwhelmed by the response from shareholders in Union Jack Oil (UJO) both institutional and retail to his plans to sack the board. The only question is whether the aging troughers David Bramhill and Joe O’Farrell will put up a fight as we head to a June AGM. Does Bramhill really believe in QCA guidance he has signed up to?
The documents below suggest that as he tries to oust the board at Union Jack Oil (UJO), Craig Howie should be contacting the HMRC whistleblower service first thing on Tuesday.
At every level corporate governance at Union Jack Oil (UJO) stinks and that is one reason why costs are utterly out of control and will destroy the company unless Craig Howie manages to sack the board at this summer’s AGM. At the heart of this is 80 year old NED Graham Bull, possibly the highest paid NED on AIM.
Trougher David Bramhill and his gang running Union Jack Oil (UJO) into the ground say that they follow the guidelines set out by the QCA with regard to Corporate Governance. But that is demonstrably not true.
Would Union Jack Oil (UJO) have followed QCA guidelines and put the whole board up for reelection at the AGM had Craig Howie who owns 9% of the equity not submitted a resolution to that effect? Perhaps. Perhaps not. I showed on Monday how Union Jack claims to follow QCA Guidance but in fact does not.
Snivelling, cowardly Graham Bull has today resigned as a NED from Union Jack Oil (UJO) while still troughing it as a consultant to the company, blaming my hurty words for his decision. In doing so he avoids being voted off the board at the AGM, which I am attending as a proxy, on 26 June in Bristol. At that AGM his fellow troughers David Bramhill, Joe O’Farrell and Zac Phillips will almost certainly be voted off. However…
Our expose that Union Jack Oil (UJO) had spaffed eighty grand buying a Porsche with personalised number plates for the gimp who sends out its tweets was one of the numerous governance fails this website has shone a light on, one of the numerous reasons why shareholders should sack the board and back Craig Howie at this summer's GM. But..
The greed at Union Jack Oil (UJO) is off the scale as the table below showing troughings going back to the 2013 IPO shows. Directors David Bramhill, Joe O'Farrell and Graham Bull own less than 2% of the equity. The shares have fallen from an adjusted IPO price of 50p to 3.5p in 13 years. Yet here are the takings of each of them. Its shocking.
As things stand, the much vaunted US operations of Union Jack Oil (UJO) are dribbling out 48 barrels per day. No doubt trougher Bramhill and the gang promise that further drilling will be transformational. We shall see. But ahead of the AGM on 26 June I wonder if Mr Brahmhill might check his records and be prepared to supply to me:
On 26 June at the AGM of Union Jack Oil (UJO) , which I shall be attending waving a proxy paper, the three surviving troughers ( David Bramhill, Joe O’Farrell & Zac Philips) will be voted off the board and new boss Craig Howie will immediately terminate the £120,000 consultancy agreements of poodle Philips and snivelling coward and current NED Graham Bull. In that light the company, which claimed to have cash of c£1.5 million at December 31 2025 has just announced that it has taken out a £1 million loan from Egdon Resources. WTF?
Over at Companies House, David Bramhill of Union Jack Oil (UJO) still lists his address as Fircroft, Barton Lane, Berrynarbor, Ilfracombe Devon. As it happens Brammers looks to be set for at least one enormous payoff this year as the house appears to have been sold, STC, on the Rightmove website. Hopefully, after he is sacked at the AGM on June 26, he will get a second , smaller, payoff.
