Aeorema Communications – interims emphasise “a resilient blue-chip client base”, but why a profit warning the company dare not detail then?

By Steve Moore | Monday 25 March 2024

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

“Strategic communications group” Aeorema Communications (AEO) was in the portfolio on the HotStockRockets website until a small profit was banked at 72p in November last year as results then included that “many brands are delaying projects and pushing them into the first half of calendar year 2024”. The shares most recently closed at 75p, but what of them currently down below 60p on the back of a “Interim Results and FY Projections”-titled announcement?
