View From Reader's Windows & Desks: Isolation Edition. No 1 Darren's window in Ottawa

By Darren Atwater | Saturday 28 March 2020

Here's a picture of the view from my window of the Ottawa River in Ottawa during isolation. We're inviting you to send pictures in of what you see out of your window and also of your new workspace. Just email them to editorial@shareProphets.com

Every year between Christmas and New Year's Day, ShareProphets shares views from our reader's windows from around the world. It's half a bit of fun, half learning about the variety of our fellow readers, and half about adding something new during a slow period.

That's Quebec a mile across on the other side. The river has been solidly frozen since December but is now breaking up. The centre channel in the distance is free water but the bit near me is still frozen. We watched someone yesterday walk on it, taking bets on whether they might go through or not. (Not.)

If the view from your window isn't something that you'd like to share, we'll also accept pics of your home workstation. Here's mine.

Send your photos to 'editorial@shareProphets.com'. We'll keep running them until we're free again, or it's New Year's Day, whichever comes first.
