Most recently writing on company describing itself as “one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of critical power control solutions for the Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment, Industrial Technology and Healthcare sectors” XP Power (XPP), in January with the shares around 1250p I questioned its argued “performing well in challenging end markets”. The shares most recently closed at 1028p and what of them currently further lower today on the back of results and fundraising announcements?
Describing itself as “one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of critical power control components to the electronics industry”, XP Power (XPP) has issued a “Trading Update” headlined “Performing well in challenging end markets, improved cash generation”. So what of the shares currently more than 3% lower in response to around 1250p?
Describing itself as “one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of critical power control components to the electronics industry”, XP Power (XPP) has issued a “Q3 Trading Update” headlined “Improved order intake led by Semis; revenue in line with expectations; continued strong cash generation”. So what of a current 1376p share price, comparing to above 1700p in May and above 2400p little more than a year ago?
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq - AEIS) has announced that it does not intend to make an offer for electronics power control components company XP Power (XPP) after a latest, 1950p per share, possible offer was unanimously rejected by the XP Power board as “fundamentally undervalues the company and its prospects”. So what about the XP Power share price reaction then?
Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq - AEIS) has issued a “Statement re Possible Offer” for XP Power (XPP) announcement, stating that it, “given the lack of engagement from the board of XP Power… believes that XP Power's shareholders should be made aware of the latest proposal, which represents a compelling and highly attractive opportunity particularly in light of the November 6, 2023 Fundraising and February 16, 2024 Trading Update”. How compelling and attractive does this possible offer move look then for XP Power’s shareholders?
Stating that it is “one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of critical power control components to the electronics industry”, XP Power (XPP) has issued a trading update headlined “Q1 trading in line with expectations and full year outlook unchanged”. So why are the shares currently just above 1100p compared to above 1550p as recently as February?
Considering itself “one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of critical power control solutions for the Industrial Technology, Healthcare and Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment sectors”, XP Power (XPP) has announced its results for the 2023 calendar year with the headline “Strategic progress in a challenging year”. With the shares currently at 1040p, how does the “progress” look?
An 11th January trading update from XP Power (XPP) which, not-modestly, describes itself as “one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of critical power control solutions for the Industrial Technology, Healthcare and Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment sectors”, stated that the company continued to expect 2024 “market conditions will improve as the year progresses… our performance will be supported by the actions taken to reduce our cost base and we will continue to respond decisively to market conditions as they evolve. We will provide a further update and outlook with our full year results announcement”. So what now already another “Trading Update”, despite the full year results announcement not scheduled for until March 5th?
