Valereum ‘fesses to lying AGAIN – how long can this madness be tolerated?

As is normally, but not exclusively, the case with Valereum (VLRM), the lying is related to Quorium Global Photonics (QGP) the Cayman based start up founded by the son and business partner of a convicted Ponzi fraudster with a $200 website. Valereum handed out shares equating to 49% of its equity in return for a $200 million five year bond from the start up paying cash coupons of $79.5 million. Only…

VLRM

Valereum QGP update: what are advisors Guild and AQSE Regulation smoking?

This gets more bonkers by the day. How Guild Advisory and AQSE Regulation tolerate this madness just defies belief. The hook up between Valereum (VLRM)  and Cayman based start up Quorium Global Photonics with its $200 website and run by the son and business partner of a convicted ponzi fraudster started last November.  The company’s then advisor thought the deal was so bent it quit and told AQSE Regulation why. But current advisor Guild then stepped up to the plate.

VLRM

If Liam Murray is on pot, Ross Andrews at Guild must be on crack cocaine: Valereum QGP update

What on earth is Ross Andrews at Guild Advisory taking so that he can attach his name to the latest gibberish from the £15 million Valereum (VLRM) bezzle. On AQSE Directors take responsibility for an RNS as opposed to Aim where an advisor must verify it as true, but does Andrews have no shame as we get the latest updated nonsense on the deal with Quorium Global Photonics, the Cayman start up run by the son and business partner of a convicted ponzi fraudster.

VLRM

Valereum bailout placing – buying the loyalty of, now compromised, advisors: this stinks

In allowing Valereum (VLRM) to buy off its advisors by handing out 1 million warrants with a 1p strike and another 2.5 million with a 2.5p strike in return for not demanding answers to massive questions but instead organizing a bailout fund raise, AQSE Regulation shows why it is not fit for purpose. The whole AQSE market is officially a total rum ‘n’coke.

VLRM

Valereum – if it cannot answer these three questions surely its shares should be suspended?

I simply cannot understand why shares in Valereum (VLRM) continue to trade after it has been shown to have deceived investors so often. At 3.25p it is, quite amazingly, still capitalized at £16 million. There are three questions that hapless advisor Ross Andrews of Guild should be forcing his client to answer. If it can’t or won’t the shares should surely be suspended.

VLRM

A Valereum-ologist poses 9 questions for Gary Cottle’s next investor meet presentation, I have one more

It seems as if Valereum (VLRM) CEO Gary Cottle is having another Investor Meet session where he promises to answer shareholder questions. I can’t see the point of thus as Gary told such a whopping monster porky at the last, March 31, IM claiming that QGP would be handing over no less than $500,000 within 5 business days. It then turned out to be $300,000 and its unclear if, in fact, any of that has been paid. So with the caveat that Cottle is a fecking liar not fit to tun a bath let alone a public company, a reader has sent him nine questions to answer. I have 1 more. The odds on Cottle answering at all?

VLRM

Letter to Ross Andrews: re Valereum

I am utterly gobsmacked that Guild Advisory, run by Ross Andrews has not resigned as advisor to AQSE Lobsterpot posterboy Valereum (VLRM). One wonders what exactly a company needs to do to get Andrews quitting, other than weaponizing my mother’s suicide. The last statement from Valereum left two big new questions unanswered. Ross is refusing to return calls so I want it on the record what he should be forcing his client to state in an RNS.

VLRM

Valereum: another default, no clarity, how has Guild NOT resigned?

You could not make it up. Well I guess Valereum (VLRM) can. Quorium Global Photonics, the Cayman based start up created by the son and business partner of a convicted ponzi fraudster with a $200 website has again defaulted on its coupon payment. This is the third time and how on earth Ross Andrews at Guild Advisory has not resigned is truly baffling. He has not returned my call. The statement is opaque.

VLRM

Valereum – is this not day 4 of 4? Where is the RNS?

I simply cannot believe that after its serial misleading statements Valereum (VLRM) is still trading on the AQSE lobster pot. I can only conclude that AQSE Regulation and Ross Andrews at Guild Advisory have been having a heavy session with my old pal Liam “the Toke” Murray at Cairn, so allowing this farce to go on. Anyhow, today is day 4 so where is the RNS?

VLRM

BREAKING: Now Valereum CEO Garry Cottle wants to be an insider dealer!

Another day in the Valereum (VLRM) circus sees CEO Garry Cottle posting the letter below to  the company’s telegram group. It is quite bonkers. On the one hand he says that there will be announcements in the coming days and on the other hand he says he’d like to buy out unhappy shareholders. If he know things that are going to happen would that not be insider dealing? Just how long can AQSE Regulation and advisor Ross Andrews tolerate this sort of behaviour? Cottle also accuses his former advisor First Sentinel, which quit with immediate effect because of the QGP deal, of “spouting nonsense.”

VLRM

Letter to Ross Andrews of Guild, advisor to Valereum (pro tem)

No cash coupon, however paltry, appears to have been received by Valereum from Quorium Global Photonics, the start up with a $200 website run by the son on a convicted ponzi fraudster, within the five business days schedule it announced on March 31. Maybe it has arrived and Valereum has just not issued an RNS. I have written to its advisor Ross Andrews of Guild

VLRM

Talk about leaving it to the wire! How to keep idiots in suspense!

Just a  reminder that the first cash payment from Quorium Global Photonics , the start up created by the son of a convicted ponzi fraudster with a $200 website, was due to Valeruem (VLRM), after the first default,  should have been paid within 5 business days of March 31. That is to say by 7.31 AM this morning.

VLRM

Valereum: Will it SMTM?

On 29 March the start up with a $200 website, Quorium Global Photonics, defaulted on a $3.9 million coupon payment to Valereum (VLRM) which it had promised to pay in fiat or in a fiat linked well established crypto. On 31 March Valereum, which is running on vapours, said the default was all agreed and instead…

I am not invested here but having been involved with East African business before I retired have followed the saga with interest. (I have been holding Aminex for 15 years waiting for gas production!)My take is read the RNS very carefully for the implications to timelines, financing and main contractor involvement. The revised security arrangements cannot be implemented until all the local community is resettled away from the site. with new housing completed. Having looked at the recent interims and 2025 accounts there are no payments or provisions made for the cost. Also noted £5.7m paid to the Banks in advanced fees, this will not have been the first such payment, non refundable of course. Watch the situation in the North. The last war delayed the project financing for years and there is no way the Banks will lend whilst this is ongoing, as well as them needing to be satisfied with the arrangements at TK. My estimation is that TK is now 12/18 months behind schedule and will most likely need yet another diluting fund raise at some point. My view is that Kefi shares are at best a hold for the patient prepared to take a 5 year view, I am too old!

I agree with you; it's great it's back on track but yes some of the stuff peddled as getting back underway is quite funny. It's classic Harry. A quick ask of copliot when it comes to that "access road and infrastructure" tells you the following: - Access road and infrastructure chronology 13 February 2024: surveys and preparatory works In Tulu Kapi Gold Project Update, 13 February 2024, KEFI said that low-cost project-launch preparations had started while it awaited project funding drawdown. The road contractor was reported to be:upgrading some bridges on the existing access routessurveying the proposed additional all-weather access roadOther enabling infrastructure included procurement of equipment needed to connect the project to the national electricity grid. KEFI also referred to communications and staging bases being installed along the transport route as part of upgraded security arrangements. [kefi-golda...copper.com]Position at this stage: preparatory and survey work, rather than construction of the new main road.7 January 2025: construction of the main access road commenced In Company Update, 7 January 2025, KEFI announced that certain “Major Works” had started, including construction of a new main access road between the highway and the Tulu Kapi site.KEFI described this as a government-funded project that significantly reduced risk to the overall development schedule. [kefi-golda...copper.com]This was an important change from the February 2024 position:February 2024: bridge upgrades and surveysJanuary 2025: construction of the new main highway-to-site road underway2 September 2025: road, power and plant infrastructure agreements In Tulu Kapi Gold Project Update, 2 September 2025, KEFI said that it, the main project contractors and the relevant Ethiopian government agencies had signed or approved definitive project contracts, subject to lender approval. These contracts covered:construction of the processing plant and associated infrastructureprovision of powernew roadslong-term mining capabilityKEFI also said that field activities were on schedule at that point and that full development was expected to begin in October 2025. [kefi-golda...copper.com]Position at this stage: the road and wider infrastructure package had moved beyond preliminary planning into government and contractor agreements, although the overall programme remained linked to final lender approval and finance completion.13 October 2025: construction projects continuing In Tulu Kapi Gold Project Update, 13 October 2025, KEFI said that various construction projects were already underway and advancing as part of the sequenced launch of the wider US$340 million project. The announcement did not provide a separate road-completion percentage or detailed breakdown of the individual infrastructure projects. [kefi-golda...copper.com]4 August 2026: visible physical progress on site In Operational Update, 4 August 2026, KEFI reported physical progress that included:installation of an electrical substationconstruction of a new access road from the bitumen highway to the siteconstruction of housing away from the mining licence areamobilisation of personnel, subcontractors and systems by Lycopodium, Ethiopian Electric Power, the Ethiopian Roads Administration and BCMmore than 50% of major project equipment either ordered or ready for orderingKEFI said the principal project milestones remained on schedule, with commissioning targeted for late 2027 and full production in mid-2028. [kefi-golda...copper.com]This is the first RNS in the sequence that clearly describes both the new road and electrical substation as physical works on the ground.7 September 2026: completion dates disclosed, followed by suspension In Tulu Kapi Update, 7 September 2026, KEFI provided more specific scheduling information:the new access road had commenced and was scheduled for completion in December 2026the electricity connection was progressing and was planned for completion before the end of 2027, in time to support commissioningplant and equipment had been ordered, with deliveries scheduled throughout 2027community resettlement and contractor arrangements were being phased around the sequence of earthworks and constructionHowever, KEFI also announced that project development activities had been immediately suspended following the fatal security incident on 4 September 2026. The company said development would not resume until arrangements were established to provide a safe and secure operating environment. The road has been commenced so many times it's almost comical.

There was so much not said. Some of the things that were said I thought were already well on there way.Construction is now recommencing for Project electricity (connections) infrastructure as well as re-mobilising for new access roads.I did think the road was already to the site. Though I easily misunderstand things. This will be followed by replacing housing and lands for community resettling from the mining licence area. I really did think this had already been started and people moved.I suppose it is like politicians announcing the same funding in 10 different ways.At 0.8p I was overall back in the black but then the selling started probably by those brave enough to have doubled down at 0.6p. I did buy some more at just under 0.7p on the way down. This and AMRQ are the only non dividend parts of my SIPP.I am tempted when more dividends drop in to top up AMRQ as Dividends must be within site, even if tiny to start with.At one point KEFI was 16% of my SIPP now just 5%. It makes the allocation look more sensible but wholly for the wrong reasons.AMRQ is just 1% of my SIPP.Kefi is now in two civil dispute areas (not sure what to call them). Ethiopia and Saudi. Those Houthis, backed by Iran. It is going to be a bumpy ride.Thankfully there is no gold mining in London. A known terrorist hot spot.If Brexit election was controlled by the Russians (ref A.Burnham) can we say the London Mayor elections were controlled by the Iranians?
