Tharisa – interims and dividend suggest still a Buy

Platinum group metals and chrome concentrates producer from South Africa, Tharisa (THS) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st March 2026 and that “reflecting our confidence in the business, the board has declared an increased interim dividend of US 2.5 cents per share”. With that up from a corresponding prior year 1.5 cents, how’s the outlook from an up to 126p share price?

THS

Tharisa – full-year results, still a recovery Buy

Platinum group metals and chrome concentrates company Tharisa (THS) has announced results for its year ended 30th September 2025 and that “production guidance for 2026 is set between 145 koz and 165 koz PGMs (6E basis) and 1.50 Mt to 1.65 Mt of chrome concentrates”. How does the financial performance and outlook compare to the valuation at a 95p share price?

THS

Tharisa – interims suggest shares remain a recovery Buy

Tharisa (THS) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st March 2025 emphasising it “continuing its track record of generating profits… despite unprecedented global macro uncertainty” and, with the shares responding slightly up to 63p in response, how does its performance compare to a £187.3 million market cap?

THS

Tharisa – interims, remains a recovery Buy

PGMs and chrome concentrates producer from South Africa, Tharisa (THS) has announced its results for its half-year ended 31st March 2024 and that it considers it “only a matter of time before… a more balanced picture for PGM uses emerges”. The shares have already recovered from below 50p in March to now above 75p, but there looks much more to go.

THS

Tharisa – Q2 update, still a recovery Buy

Producer from the Bushveld Complex in South Africa, Tharisa (THS) has announced a second quarter of its year to 30th September 2024 update including that its performance means it is “on track to meet guidance” for the full-year of 145koz-155koz PGMs (6E) and 1.7Mt-1.8Mt chrome concentrates. Is that good news from a current around 66p share price?

THS

Tharisa – Q4 report, a cash-supported recovery Buy

PGMs and chrome producer from South Africa Tharisa (THS) has issued a fourth quarter report for its year ended 30th September 2023, which also includes “production guidance for FY2024 is set between 145 koz and 155 koz PGMs (6E basis) and 1.7 Mt to 1.8 Mt of chrome concentrates”.

THS

Tharisa – Q3 update, still a cash-generating value Buy

PGMs and chrome producer from South Africa, Tharisa (THS) has issued an update on the third quarter to end-June of its year, with 'highlights' including “PGM output increased to 37.0 koz (Q2 FY2023: 34.3 koz) with yield maintained and recoveries improving” and “Karo Platinum Project remains on track with major milestones of first concrete pour and pilot mining commenced” currently helping the shares up by more than 7% to 75p. But we consider there is much further upside potential here.

THS

Tharisa – interims, a still cash-generating value BUY

Chrome and PGM producer from South Africa, Tharisa (THS) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st March 2023, including noting industry supply issues, buoyant chrome demand and improving platinum auto catalytic demand. That sounds encouraging for its prospects.

THS

Tharisa – debt facility agreement, ‘another key step in its development’

Platinum group metals and chrome producer Tharisa (THS) has announced what it emphasises as a further “key step” in its development with an agreement, “subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions”, for a $130 million debt facility with Société Générale and Absa Bank. However, also noting end-2022 net cash of $101.1 million, what’s the debt facility agreement a “key step” for?

THS

Tharisa – Q1 report, still a value Buy

Platinum group metals and chrome producer in South Africa, Tharisa (THS) has issued an update on its first quarter of the year, including news that mining volumes were impacted by rainfall not seen in the history of the Tharisa mine but that it maintains full-year production guidance of 175koz-185koz PGMs (6E) and 1.75Mt-1.85Mt chrome concentrates. So what of a current 97.5p share price?

THS

Tharisa – production report, upcoming results to highlight strong value

Platinum group metals and chrome producer in South Africa Tharisa (THS) has issued a fourth quarter and full-year production report noting that it “will translate to a strong set of financial results… net cash position of US$78.6 million (30 June 2022 US$48.0 million)”, and helping the shares up to 107.5p.

THS

Tharisa – full-year results, a continuing cash generation Buy?

PGMs and chrome concentrates producer in South Africa Tharisa (THS) has announced results for its year ended 30th September 2021 and “FY2022 production guidance of between 165 koz and 175 koz PGMs (6E basis) and 1.75 Mt and 1.85 Mt of chrome concentrates” – further increases on the year just ended.

THS

Tharisa – Q4 update delivers as we expected, looks more to come

Last month on PGMs and chrome producer in South Africa Tharisa (THS), we concluded with the shares just above 100p that we look to an anticipated fourth quarter update to further reassure and highlight continuing cash flow and growth potential. Now the company has produced its Q4 update and the shares have risen to 130p.

Retail are not supposed to be able to get hold of instie research which is meant to be available only to “elective professional investors”. I don’t know though to what extent Research Tree enforce this term in their T&Cs. So Archer’s stuff is defo available and free, and where there is no meaningful broker research better to have his stuff than not.

the net income (ie profit) in H1 was $13.6m on output of sub 10,000 oz. H2 output will be 15-25,000 oz so id view it as a nailed on cert that AMRQ will report a FY profit

Well said. But it may be premature to call the company profitable in the middle of the year – especially when it was presumably putting a shine on everything for the move to the main market.
