Pennant International – “Siemens-driven Auxilium sales into US Defence”, RNS Reach attempted ramptastic?

Systems support software and training solutions group Pennant International (PEN) “is pleased to announce further commercial progress from its strategic partnership with Siemens Digital Industries Software, together with continued growth in annual recurring revenue from its Auxilium software suite”. How materially ‘pleasing’ is this from the valuation at a currently further up to 30p share price?

PEN

Pennant International – from “confident that the group will meet market expectations” to expects “lower than market expectations” in little over a month!…

Most recently writing on software and training support company Pennant International (PEN), last month with the shares at 27.5p I reviewed ‘how “confident” to be really in “significantly second-half-weighted”?’ and concluded that the clear risks suggested avoid/sell. The shares most recently closed at 28p, but what of they currently falling to 25p on the back of a ‘trading update’?

PEN

Pennant International – “Business Update”, how “confident” to be really in “significantly second-half-weighted”?

Software and training support company Pennant International (PEN) has issued a “Business Update” announcement including that it “is pleased to report that the sale of the final two freehold units at Staverton Connection (Units D1 and D2) has now completed on a sale-and-leaseback basis” and that it is “confident that the group will meet market expectations for the full year”. So what about a currently further lower to 27.5p share price from 34p reached earlier this year?

PEN

Pennant International – “pleased to report ongoing progress in the business”. How ‘pleasing’ is it?…

Systems support and training to the aerospace, defence and adjacent safety-critical markets business Pennant International Group (PEN) has issued a trading update including CEO Philip Walker “pleased to report ongoing progress in the business” and also that the group “notes the UK Strategic Defence Review recently announced by the new Labour government, and is pleased to see that the new government has committed to increasing UK defence spending to 2.5% of GDP”. So what of a current 4% lower share price response to 24p?

PEN

Pennant International – new contract wins, Buy

Safety-critical industries training technology and product support services group Pennant International (PEN) has announced new contract wins, emphasising they showing recent momentum being maintained, and currently helping the shares up to 38p.

PEN

Pennant International – 2022 results, ‘solid foundations for continued recovery’ Buy

Safety-critical industries training technology and integrated product support services group Pennant International (PEN) has announced results for the 2022 calendar year, emphasising “a much-improved performance” and “a contracted year end order book of £25 million (2021: £22 million), underpinning forecasts and providing good visibility for 2023 and beyond”.

Yes I have worked hard and have 2 nice houses. Could I buy more gold with them than my grandparents would have by selling Ightam in 1935? I very much doubt it. We may be fiat rich but that just shows the scale of inflation. And you seem to accept that GDP per capita is more material than GDP

Not everyone is richer since 1975 but I certainly am and I believe at least 95% of your readers probably are. I have a local newspaper article from the 1920s, my ancestors evicted by constables because they could not pay the rent on their hovel, they placed their few chatels in the street, it was winter so they were provided with a tent and told to move on, no free council house available. These days illegal immigrants with no id who may be Iranian terrorists are housed in hotels kept warm and well fed. I am dumbfounded by the assertion of this article, its ridiculous, you now live in a million pound house with another in Greece, probably have pension pots worth hundreds and thousands of pounds. I expect Mr Frisby probably has a few million pounds stashed , maybe in crypto, do you and Mr Frisby feel impoverished ? I was poor in the 1960s and 70s, I had an Austin 1100 in the 1970s which cost 15 pounds, I was done over by the car dealer, he should have paid me to take it away but I learned how to weld and keep it running. I could if I desired buy a car new today, I choose to drive an old banger, I have never been able to shake off feeling the need to be careful with money. Surely most of your subscribers by the miracle of compound interest and share price appreciation are better off today than 1975, Divorce, kids, market corrections and bad choices invariably dent your pile, I never minded the kids doing that. I have wasted a fortune on fraudulent AIM shit, a large amount on the Wood Group fraud, Lonmin lies , lots of similar blunders since I started gambling on shares nearly 50 years ago but somehow against the odds and being robbed by politicians raising tax I am better off than in 1975 and no thanks at all to capital gains on property or being in a highly paid job so I ask you just who has been impoverished ? I would not mind the level of tax if it were spent on defence but our taxes are being squandered on fraudulent benefit claims housing financial migrants, billions of fraud in NHS procurement , train drivers on 70k, seems whatever money the government get they find a way to squander it.

Well, DnD, not quite a refund, but when your TV licence comes up for renewal, don't renew it, so you will save a few quid. And you will be able to have the pleasure of cursing and swearing at the "enforcement officer" who will inevitably turn up at your door, despite that you have told them repeated times that you don't watch the British Bashing Corporation woke output or that of their equally despicable corporate colleagues.

This is even worse than you say as the raise was spammed round the market when priced at 9.4p, got forward sold for a week down to 7.4p and then the capital access window was implemented. All in all, a 39% discounted raise. This is negligence of the highest order, but will anything happen to those in the know that forward sold, I doubt it, and will any heads roll for incompetence, I doubt that as well.

What an utter disgrace all round. And I suppose the illegal dross invading this septic isle will be better off than my wife and I, in our 70's, who worked for over 40 years each?Doesn't make one proud to be British at all. God help us if we get another 4-5 years of the shower in power now - we may as well all give up.

That only the half of it - the state pension for me is income - so any warned money beyond that is taxed - but for the shirker the pension is a benefit not an income so they can earn another £12540 before paying tax !
