Today Kavango Resources (KAV) has announced that it has raised c$8.4 millon gross at 1p – a material premium to yesterday’s close and so that is some achievement. Well done. But the maths does not quite stack up and they make Monday’s RNS claims from Kavango look like a total Jackanory. Let me explain.
Oh dear. This looks grim and I shall be flagging it up with my contact at the FCA later today suggesting that it launch a full enquiry into Kavango Resources (KAV) which is running on vapours but, more critically, seems to have misled investors. This is not the old management team led by “flip flop” Ben Turney but the current one led by Peter Wynter Bee. Crazy name. Crazy guy.
Oh dear. Oh Dear. Flip Flop Ben Turney, formerly of this Parish, and, like Julie Meyer, a devout and sincere Christian left Kavango Resources (KAV) with immediate effect last October. But his golden legacy lives on.
Another day starts and Kavango Resources (KAV), the Southern Africa focussed wannabee miner run by Flip Flop Ben Turney, formerly of this parish, announces a “strategic financing of £6,566,200 at 0.7 pence per share.” So how much cash will Ben be counting this morning given that Kavango is running on vapours? The answer is nil.
I am sorry to say this of a former editor of this site but I think Ben Turney has been bullshitting in an RNS from Kavango. Just shy of four year’s after he became CEO of sub scale mining explorer Kavango (KAV) perhaps the jury should reach a view on his performance.
At 2.47 PM yesterday Kavango Resources (KAV) issued a dismal drilling update. CEO “Flip Flop” Ben Turney tried to polish the turd but essentially the KSZDD003 drilling – just 60 metres from existing drilling failed to find anything. Turdey’s turn polishing is magnificent. I quote:
You live by the sword....
Flip flop Ben Turney used to be a (pretty good) journalist on this website exposing pump and dump CEOs who talked bullshit. What would the Ben Turney of old think of his latest antics at Kavango Resources (KAV), CEO Ben Turney of the parish of Flip Flop. According to flip flop, as he today announced a £3 million placing at 1.8p, Kavango is “targeting the discovery of world-class mineral deposits in Botswana”. In a similar vein, thanks for subscribing to ShareProphets, your cash will allow me to continue targeting a night in the sack with Cheryl Cole. This latest placing is a shocker.
In the old days of editing this website, flip flop Ben Turney would skewer penny share promoters for deceiving investors. These days, flip flop runs Sub Standard Listed Kavango Resources (KAV), which today raised £750,000 at 3p, Friday’s closing offer price. The RNS is bure bunkum, but there is worse.
