I wrote on a “pleased to have secured” contract from self-described “world leader in human challenge clinical trials” hVIVO (HVO) in February with the shares falling below 18p, asking conveniently-timed client funding and acquisition accounting and reporting trying to mask biopharma spending challenges?, and concluding to, at least ahead of further financials clarity, avoid. The shares most recently closed at 16.2p and what of now a “Trading update” and the shares currently falling below 10p?!
Self-described “world leader in human challenge clinical trials”, hVIVO (HVO) has announced a “£2m hMPV characterisation study contract”, but what about the shares currently slightly further down to below 18p having already fallen from close to 30p as recently as November?
Completing my weekend mini-series on a couple of (the many) Woodford-owned biotech investments that haven’t quite worked out as he would have hoped, I couldn’t help but notice that hVIVO (HVO)lost about 50% of its value this week so wondered what was going on.
