It seems as though, like the pox, which is difficult to cure, once you’ve got on one of these lists, it’s very very hard to get off them. Unfortunately I’m on one such list which continues to generate barking mad calls on wine, whisky, artisanal gold, gemstones blah blah blah. The sales pitch is - you’re making 1% on your ISA (assumed to be cash), I can get you 15% pa on said asset, and what’s more it’s a tangible asset and these only go up.

I have just read Jordan’s latest weekly report and he seems dogmatic on two points.A) Don’t trade in and out of bull markets for Gold.B) There is no prospect of an imminent lift off for gold.The extremely bearish picture is a fall to around 3300 dollars.Even the bullish forcast does not consider that Gold will shoot to the upside.

I find it hard to believe anyone would put money into wine or spirits scams, has anyone ever made a worthwhile amount from any of these type of companies ? I have had lots of calls from wine and whisky 'investment' scammers, I imagine I am probably on some kind of suckers list which would not surprise me after all I have been suckered into losing a fortune on AIM shit over the years, these days I am well aware that the AIM is a scam. Maybe my stockborker has sold my details to the Tesco tele sales department in Lagos.

The point about Syria is yes it is not stable in that the bearded loon honored at downing street wants to genocide the alawites, druze and kurds. But nearly all those here now are Sunni Muslims who are the sect in power who are safe. If you say they are not safe then 75% of the popul;ation should be allowed into the UK!

As a white man if I was doing what that Syrian is I would be fast tracked into court and jailed within a week - fact. While I appreciate that in the post Assad period Christians are being slaughtered by Muslims on an industrial scale in Syria, as they are in Mozambique and Nigeria etc we should not be accepting any more Asylum Seekers or Economic Migrants from outside of Europe. Our entire Asylum System should be scrapped and we should solve the mounting terrorist threat we have here, rather than taking a knee to them.
