Information technology consultancy staffing group FDM (FDM) has issued an update commencing including that “a modest uptick in trading levels, in some of our markets… has continued at similar levels over the last two months, and trading for the first four months of the year has been in line with the board’s expectations”. Hmmm, what does the “modest uptick” in “some” markets mean for its overall trading?

What about now the group’s 2025 results announcement including commencing that it “continue to see encouraging signs in some of the markets we serve” and the shares currently more than 6% further lower at around 115p in response?

So, on the back of the trading statement, what of a current share price of 390p… down 16.5%?!
