Eden Research terrible finals – what was Jo Hart smoking?

You may remember that in the middle of last year there was a concerted move to pump shares in Eden Research up to a peak of 12p. A highlight of this was Jo Hart’s Midas column which got the IPO date wrong by almost a decade, failed to mention the years of fraud, the condemnation by the FRC, 27 years of non-delivery and instead came up with some made up numbers suggesting that the shares would go from just under 4p to 19p. Shortly thereafter £9.9 million was raised at massively discounted 6.5p. Today we have calendar 2023 numbers.

Thanks to ludicrous pumping by the preposterous Jo Hart of the Mail on Sunday Midas column, who appeared happy to ignore 27 years of non-delivery with a very good sprinkling of fraud, shares in Eden Research (EDEN) surged last year allowing it to get a £9 million placing away at 6.5p. But how quickly is it spaffing that cash? How much is left?

At Companies House, Eden Research’s (EDEN) 29.9% associate TerpeneTech has finally published its long delayed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022 originally due on 30 September 2023. We can now compare the disclosures made with those made by Eden in its accounts for the year ended 31 December 2022 published on 4 May 2023 in respect of TerpeneTech in Note 15. The results are set out below:

I flagged up that shocking journalism of eight days ago by Jo Hart of the Midas column HERE. But so far her call looks inspired and I look like a schmuck who has received numerous lawyers letter from Eden Research (EDEN) for exposing its numerous historic frauds. Oddly it never went beyond the “bully and harass” stage.

In the c25 years since Eden Research (EDEN) has – as well as committing numerous frauds – managed to send £43.3 million of other folks cash to money heaven. Apologists say that this is an early stage growth company and it is all about the jam that will arrive tomorrow. They have always said that.
