Eden Research: Letter to the FRC and AIM Regulation: 3 dodgy accounting strikes and you are out?

Over the years I have reported Eden Research (EDEN) and some of the chancers who ran it to numerous regulators, including the FSA ( the equally useless forerunner of the FCA), AIM Regulation and the Financial Reporting Council. As a result of my efforts, The FSA did twice slam the former managers at Eden. The FRC has twice slammed the current managers at Eden. So, it is not pointless. I have written again

Eden Research – revisiting the TerpeneTech data transactions.

I showed in my expose yesterday that Eden Research (EDEN) had booked a significant sale of £434,783 representing over 10% of its revenues for the 15 months ended 31 March 2026 to a related party namely TerpeneTech which it classifies as an associate because it considers that it exerts significant influence over that entity.  I also raised concerns about TerpeneTech’s ability to pay for that in light of almost continual losses in recent years and negative net current assets as shown in the Eden accounts. I have some very real concerns about the probity of this transaction.   In this Note I look at guidance for auditors on the topic of fraud.

Twice in the past Eden Research (EDEN) has fooled investors by reporting bogus revenues with, now 29.99% thanks to a Panama pump fraud, owned Terpenetech. And the FRC has slated it for this. Guess what? It has done it again. I shall be contacting my good pals at the Financial Reporting Council once more!

It has now managed to send well over £40 million to money heaven, including the costs of sending me a stream of lawyers letters for exposing its naughtiness back in 2005. You really could not make this up. I have always viewed corporate awards as a complete joke, an excuse for mutual back slapping by folks pouring themselves into DJs and party frocks with shareholders (never invited) picking up the tab for the canapes and champagne. They are always a pointless vanity but this takes the biscuit.
