Celadon Pharmaceuticals: does anyone out there other than Sarah McLeod believe the forecasts?

In early May I flagged up HERE that the statements made by Celadon Pharmaceuticals (CEL) about sales contracts ahead of it getting away bailout placings were, at best wildly optimistic and, at worst, downright misleading. Since then, the shares have, as I have often predicted headed only one way and that is South. I now ask the question does anyone other than FemiNazi PR Sarah McLeod actually believe its current forecasts?

I really do not wish to get on the wrong side of FemiNazi PR bird Ms. Sarah MacLeod but, with a hat tip to Evil Banksta, I must warn her that her client Celadon Pharmaceuticals (CEL) seems to have rather over-egged news of new contract wins ahead of bailout placings last year. Well Ms. McLeod GOTCHA. As predicted your client has had to pass the hat around. It may not now be existing on vapours but its valuation is still tonto.

Back on March 23 I did a bearcast on Celadon Pharma (CEL) HERE which initially saw the shares marked lower from 125p to c105p. But the company fought back with private briefings. It did not draw attention to my well founded misgivings by issuing an RNS “refuting” what I said. That was a smart move. Instead someone roped in the serial liar John Story to do a mass new media spam pushing the shares, the CEO also did a Proactive interview and, for a while it worked. The shares hit 180p. Ouch. But then they started slipping.
