Anglesey Mining (#AYM) – appointment of Andrew Fulton as CEO, good luck chap!

Anglesey Mining (AYM) celebrated its 41st birthday last month. It has never made a profit but has limped on with mug punters ponying up for placement after placement after sodding placement. But as is often the way, at some point, impoverished shareholders look at fat cat directors and parasitical advisers and say “feck you - we do not care if we lose everything we just want to stop funding your life of Ukrainian Young Ladies and Colombia’s finest.”
When he was not wasting Police Time by trying to get me arrested, Lyin’ Steve O Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) insisted that his most recent placing was with a new US “institutional investor” and one with relevant sector expertise. I said, at the time, that Alumni Capital provided complex financial structures with fees obfuscating its actual entry price and was in many cases just a plain old death spiral provider and a rapacious one to boot. Guess what?
The history of Anglesey Mining (AYM) is one of pump, dump, pump, dump, rinse and repeat. Whether involving bent BBC journalism or dodgy promoters it is always the same. At the heart of the promote has always been the fantasy that Parrys Mountain copper mine which shut down in 1904 might, somehow, be reopened. It is a fantasy right up there with mine about Cheryl Cole but it has lured in mug punters again and again. While I stay true to the Geordie Nightingale, today Anglesey has a new fantasy.
You would have thought that after the Scotgold (SGZ) fiasco , when the BBC allowed itself to regurgitate a stale RNS as a breaking bombshell in a pre placing ramp organised by the company, the BBC would have learned its lesson. But no. With Scotgold already bust it is being played again, this time by Anglesey Mining (AYM).
Anglesey Mining (AYM) appears to be trawling for followers on twitter. with a claim that it has "material value not currently in the share price". That sort of activity for a company now running on vapours is a massive red flag. At least some of the responses show folks calling out this spoofing by charlatans for what it is.
Who does Anglesey Mining (AYM) – a company that pretends to be a wannabee miner but, in fact, for more than thirty years has engaged in a principal business of issuing more shares – think it is kidding with its latest pointless deal?
With breathless excitement the BBC here in Wales yesterday pumped out an exclusive story which has prompted some of the sheep shaggers to fill their boots with shares in Anglesey Mining (AYM) prompting a bit of a spike in the share price. But it is all bollocks. And a prelude to a deeply discounted placing. The sheep shaggers here in Cymru are going to get their fingers burned. Shame on the BBC for failing to do even basic research. Its article from one day ago is below.
Lunch time does seem to be the new no-one-is-watching o’clock and yesterday at 12.54pm, just as the City was tucking in to a nice tasty lunch before settling down to enjoy the action at the Commonwealth Games, AIM-listed Anglesey Mining (AYM) popped out an RNS.
