TV and video streaming technology company Amino (AMO) was an initial pick for 2020 from me at a 134p offer price. The shares approached 150p in early February, but I concluded at 123p to sell in March as coronavirus impacted, the noted performance might see it best to take the small hit now and, perhaps, look to re-enter down the line. The shares last closed at 115p but are currently above 120p on the back of a “Trading & Dividend Update”...

Updating at the weekend on technology provider to media and entertainment network operators Amino Technologies (AMO), with the shares at 118.5p I concluded I maintained a cautious view having particularly noted from results a month ago, “working closely with its customers and supply chain partners to meet… demand while accommodating higher ex-factory leadtimes” and after a previous (October 2018) profit warning was “reflecting an intensification of external macroeconomic headwinds”. Now a “Covid-19 Update, Dividend and AGM” announcement from the company…
Shares in self-styled “technology provider for modern TV experiences” Amino Technologies (AMO) were above 200p as recently as early October, when they were then hit by a warning of “an intensification of external macroeconomic headwinds”, including “higher than expected component price increases”. However, consumers wanting to enjoy content at the time and location of their choice has remained a clear trend and there has since also been a “transformation programme”. This is actually a stock we tipped in 2014, on which we banked big gains at 141p in 2015. Now at a 128p offer price, we ride again…
Amino Technologies (AMO) has announced results for its half year ended 31st May 2018, emphasising “strong revenue visibility and pipeline coverage - full year expectations confirmed” - the numbers though showing adjusted earnings approaching 60% lower than in the corresponding half in the prior year on revenue 17% lower at $41.2 million. Hmmm…
Amino Technologies (AMO) has updated on trading for its half-year ended 31st May 2018, including “as operators transform their services to IP delivery to meet consumer demand for entertainment 24/7 on any device we are seeing good traction for our three clear market opportunities - upcycling, the transition from cable to IPTV, and Android TV. Good visibility provided by our order backlog and pipeline underpins the board's confidence in full year expectations”. So why a current more than 4% share price decline?...

The shares have responded, er, more than 4% lower further below 200p. Hmmm…
