A City source has revealed to me that the long serving and self serving fat cat boss of serial uber dog Arian Silver (AGQ), Mr Jim Williams is set leave the company within days. The forced departure of Williams, whose pay has been obscene in relation to the 99% shareholder wipeout which he has presided over, is a prelude to yet another fund raise.
The only real surprise when it comes to persistent AIM failure Arian Silver (AGQ) is that some people thought that things were actually going to turn out differently this time around!
Our very own Gary Newman nailed this spot on at the weekend flagging up that an almighty pump in Arian Silver (AGQ) was underway. Our sober, harsh but fair coverage contrasts well with the really sordid rampfest that saw the shares pushed ahead ahead of a placing today raising £600,000 at just 0.5p.
When a tiny AIM company suddenly becomes popular all over Twitter and the bulletin boards, and without any real news to justify that sudden attention, then you have to question why it is happening.
A chap for whom I have some time some of the time asked me why bother sticking it to Arian Silver (AGQ), a worthless piece of crap on AIM. Will it make any difference to the charade, to the game which sees userless tossers like Arian's CEO Jim Williams get ever richer, crony capitalists earn fat fees and investors get buggered again and again and again. No. My writings won't change that. And the chap is right in that it will just make a few more pathetic wretches who would rather lose money than accept the truth hate me. Yup. He is right.
For some reason Arian Silver (AGQ) seems to be a favourite with PIs, but it seems to be just another AIM resource company that has achieved very little during its life and looks to be on its last legs!
What is it with chaps called Williams from Wales and trainwrecking companies? We move from David at Avanti earlier HERE to Jim at Arian Silver (AGQ) who has already trainwrecked this company once. Now, after a bailout which saw it surrender any assets worth owning, Jim is at it again and today he has updated his punters on a deal in Mexico which is related party although Jim neglects to remind punters of this fact.
Given that it narrowly avoided bankruptcy just weeks ago and that its still far from awash with cash and nowhere near revenue generation that Arian Silver (AGQ) still spunks shareholders cash on a PR man is nothing short of disgraceful. Especially when the absolute cretin in question serves up what must be the comedy RNS of the day. Pompously the RNS is headlined Memorandum of Understanding with Tierra Nueva Mining . Okay big corporate deal then? Er.....
Tom Winnifrith has made no secret of his contempt for AIM (and TSX) listed POS Arian Silver (AGQ), having quite correctly called it a sell many times. But the latest RNS – a no-one-is-watching o’clock placing announcement really takes the biscuit. Yesterday the shares closed at 1.9p, having dropped 25% over the day and lo-and-behold we have an after-hours placing at just 1p.
