amount owed to taxman rose from 319k at 30/6/24 to 861 a year later. Given how it has now defaulted on payment plan I think my guess that it is a 7 figure sum is an educated onei agree suspension is subjective. But TM1 would not itself go bust if recyclus did so it is not a pending clarification of ITS final position time yet.
MNTL puts out a RNS using the Adam Reynolds keyboard which you think covers an outstanding winding up petition for "a seven figure sum" (your guess) that it can give no certainty it will see off via an external funder.... and yet you don't believe the shares should be suspended pending clarification of the company's financial position?Whatever you say. You've called for suspension elsewhere over much less.
JRB is ok but personally not the best, to me at least. There are others such as Andrew Maguire, Peter Schiff, Alasdair Macleod who I think have a much clearer view of what is going on, and explain it in a fare more concise way.Sometimes it's not all about charts, but fundamentals. The charts may look bearish for both gold and silver currently in the short term, but if the fundamentals come to the fore with what is actually happening out there, runaway US and world debt, sticky inflation, rising bond yields (they are bullish for gold contrary to popular opinion) and general world disorder, along with two wars, plus the fact that gold and silver miners themselves are throwing off record amounts of cash, it beggars belief that both PM's and the miners will not eventually go on a very bullish run.
I will not argue with your first statement. for the evidence is clear. Yes of course cash spent on capex cannot be used to pay a div but as it moves thru cashflow statement not P&L it does not affect retained earnings. So if AMRQ makes a $200m profit in the 18 months to dec 27 (it could spend $150m on building BA and still pay a div with spare cash and as it would then have retained earnings of $97m. I was only suggesting a nominal 1p per share to start with (so a cost of $6m)
Well, I am a moron then because I assumed the folding cash for asset capex would come out of actual profits in a rush over a couple of years maybe. However it is presented on paper, I thought the actual cash would diminish rapidly leaving less to distribute to shareholders.
Of course they will but you are confusing P&L and cashflow statement. capex is on the latter. so let us say between july 1 2026 and end 2027 PTP is $200m. $100m can go on capex on building BA mine. that capex is then depreciated over 15 years or whatever LOM is in 2028 onwards P&L but is not a hit on 2027 P&L so does not affect retained earnings
