Very easy money for Hmrc to collect for those who did not declare it.The reality is that Hmrc only check a sample of these returns so if you did not pay the tax that was due you will more than likely get a way with it.I doubt that this guy will ever be prosecuted by anyone who is “ looking “ into it.
