Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
Even by the shocking standards of disclosure on AIM, January 16th’s RNS from IGas Energy (IGAS) takes some beating. Titled “Director Share Purchase and Finance Facility” this has to be one of the most shameful announcements released in recent years.

Ben, yes, this kind of arrangement does not come without a downside, it isn’t an “everone’s a winner” situation, the likely losers are shareholders, in terms of increased volatility or through having the share price driven down to the price EFH actually paid for the shares.

Yeah I’ve contacted Stewarts Law on this. Them wot’s acting for shareholders against Tesco and RBS. Not sure if this is big enough for them – but certainly big enough in the egregious sense. Will see if their litigation finance provider Bentham Ventures thinks it’s worthwhile. Watch this space : )
