Any hopes for “new” Range Resources (RRL) were obliterated this morning, with the announcement of a $300,000 share payment to Empire Equity as a final “termination payment” for financial advisory services.

I have a large loss on range. I hold them with a nominee in an ISA, so do not get a vote, which is where I think a lot of votes disappear. Modern share holdings should give holders an electronic vote. Sad to see Rory go he seemed to have steadied the ship. We now maybe in the hands of charlatans again. This should be a very simple oil company to run. Reduce staff in Trinidad so they can make a profit there seem to be far to many based on the size of the fields. Drill new wells from cash flow, no more share issuing, there are billions already. Build production and maybe in the future pay dividends, no senseless buybacks.
