Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
Quenron (QPP) is not the first company to do business with Equity First Holdings LLC – step forward IGAS Energy (IGAS) which for reasons I shall explain below may well be the first domino to topple in what is brewing up as a mammoth scandal.

Given that igas was flying in january as uk shale prospects started to be realised it is hardly likely that aa entered into this agreement as part of some dodgy false confidence building scam. He didn’t need to, the share price was shooting up. Given that the agreement is legal why shouldn’t he take a punt on buying some more shares while protecting his downside. He couldn’t have predicted the energy price falls currently affecting the share price, after all no else did.
