With a short career working for a charity then as a teacher before becoming a career politician, Energy minister Michael Shanks has, like the rest of them at Halitosis Hall, zero real world experience to bring to the job. He probably does not realise how he has been played by Lyin' Steve Sanderson of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG).
I bet he has no idea about the Horse Hill scandal or the history of UK Oil & Gas and Lyin' Steve. So earlier this week he met up with Lyin' Steve allowing UK to post photos all over the web of this critical meet up. That was the pump of the shares.
Today the dump, 520,000 pounds raised at just 0.016p, a 26% discount. That will keep the lights on and play Sanderson's bloated salary for another couple of months.
Does Shanks have any idea of what Sanderson was up to? I suspect not even with hindsight.
