Over the weekend I revealed HERE the string of business trainwecks that are the real career of Dragons Den new boy Piers Linney. I also flagged that his AIM listed Outsourcery (OUT) was in dire straits and its shares have slumped from 34p on Friday to 25.5p ( and falling) today as the possibility that it could go tits up looms ever larger – as I flag HERE.

I watched Piers Linney’s performance on dragon’s den the other night. What surprised me was his arrogant approach to negotiating on equity with a company who already had a finance arrangement in place with a VC. He was pushing them to agree to his terms there and then (which of course they couldn’t until they discussed the terms with the VC).
I then went online to figure out who he was because it all seemed very amateurish.
Having read your article it does not surprise me in the least. His string of disasters have obviously lined his pockets well! Is that the mark of success these days I wonder?

Nicely put Ms B. The program then went on to announce at the end that the VC’s who were originally involved in the financing of the company had agreed to Linneys terms. I felt sorry for those two guys he invested in, having just read Tom’s article on Linney I wondered how well that business is now doing with his input?
