This updated piece clarifies that the listed companies mentioned own stakes in Horse Hill Developments Limited, which owns 65% of the Horse Hill oil exploration project. Since the beginning of June, there has been increasing speculation concerning the upcoming Horse Hill oil exploration drill in Surrey. Share prices of the four original David Lenigas influenced companies have increased by 200-300% in this time and I expect each of them to move even higher in the next few weeks, as the excitement increases the closer we get to the commencement of drilling. On Friday, two further companies joined the Horse Hill party in the form of Alba Mineral Resources (ALBA) and Regency Mines (RGM). It is worth mentioning that Regency also has a 14.9% stake in Alba, but the question remains which of the Horse Hill horses could be the largest winner?

Whose idea was it to divide market cap by HH % and then conclude “this suggests that its Horse Hill interest is priced nearly 50% higher than Regency Mines”
What rubbish !!

Snuff box .
your missing the point …..per £1000 invested the likely response to a given discovery ( all other news being nil ) would be proportionately higher, all things being equal, if your £1000 has bought you a bigger slice of the Pizza ( just for you Tom )

Mr Wild
I`m not missing the point at all. If you think that dividing market cap by HH % is the correct way to compare how the market values the HH interest you are bonkers too.
