Bulletin Board Moron of the Week – Pengipete: ADVFN Phorm Board

As ever the competition to be awarded the title of Bulletin Board Moron of the Week is a really bitter one. There are just so many possible winners. But over on the ADVFN Phorm (PHRM) Board Pengipete is emerging as a star BB Moron of the age. It is quite possible that for this entry he might just win the coveted “BB Moron of the Year award” at the end of season.

Comments

  1. As usual, you fail to READ or check the facts.

I CLEARLY wrote that you PUBLISHED that abusive garbage – I did NOT say that you wrote it.

Publishers can commit libel. You really don’t think before posting.

Having “editorial control” is NOT the same as OWNING the site or publication – two completely different things.

What winnifrith fails to mention is that I have presented a number of well-reasoned criticisms of his recent side-swapping idiocy relating to phorm.

He’s abusing his position as advfn’s pet blogger to post abuse – including this bile fest – in a weak attempt to discredit those posts.

  2. “ADVFN does not own shareprophets – check your facts pal”

    I did – unlike you….

“As we are a subsidiary of ADVFN PLC, we strive to ensure that ShareProphets meets the highest standards of balance and accuracy. “ – http://www.shareprophets.advfn.com/about

  3. Any chance of a t-shirt ?
“Pengipete – Moron of the Year”.
I’ll buy one and send it to him !

  4. Can I have a “Pengipete – Moron of the Month” T-Shirt too and a “Pengipete – Stalker of the Year” t-shirt? This so called “Privacy Campaigner” has been stalking me for years and is really a despicable character.

  5. Also don’t forget to make a T-Shirt for TweedleDee (BTCustomer) an equally despicable, lying, stalking cretin.

  6. Pegipete

As well as being a BB Moron you are also an accounting illiterate. In accountinh terms subsidiiary means parent owns 20% or more. Yes ADCFN has a stake in Shareprophets Ltd but go check companies house…

you will see who owns 70% and who controls this beast.

I realise that facts are unimportant to you but…

As to me “publishing” – no we have unmoderated comments here so that does not make me a publisher.. again go check your facts

    T

  7. Just ignore him Tom, seems with Pengi it is ok for him to harass others and make up lies about them but it is not ok for anyone to make any comments about him – no matter how true they are. He is a coward and stalker.

  8. If you want more info on his despicable acts, you have my email, drop me a line. I have files including 10s of thousands of lines of abusive, harassing and libelous tweets from both BTCustomer and Pengipete.

See my blog on this for further info http://www.alexanderhanff.com/online-harassment

Check out BTCustomer’s twitter account – almost his entire “Following” list is made up of people who follow me so he can harass them every time they send a comment to me and his Twitter images section is like a crazy serial killer’s wall made up almost entirely of screenshots relating to me or my family.

    Both of them are certifiable.

  9. Oh dear hanff – would that be the same “stalking” that you claim was “reported to the police” – many, many times. Still waiting to hear on that one – you lying twat.

And is that “stalking” why you have come all the way to advfn to have a go at me and I’ve been nowhere near you – as usual. You had to track me down to continue your insane vendetta cos you hate it when I ignore your abuse for a few months.

The twitter feed that you claim has 10,000 acts of abuse has only ever had 832 tweets – that’s the total – in years, It’s just not about you – is it? Hell, I’ve only tweeted half a dozen times in the last six months – and they’re really not about you are they – you lying twat.

Hardly fits your version of events, does it.

Still, you keep posting lies and pretending to be some ickle victim. You and winnifrith should get along – both talk shit and both post sulky, libellous crap when someone shoots holes in your half-baked trash.

FFS -look at post 6 above. winnifrith can’t even spell “pengipete” when posting his insulting crap – lazy, illterate, ill-informed and afraid to post his abuse on the bulletin boards cos he knows he’d be banned for being a lying twat.

  10. I thought between 20% and 50% was an associate investment, whereas a subsidiary is more than 50%.

  11. stipe123
winnifrith just made that 20% claim up to try to further discredit me. He’s pissed that I’d been criticising an earlier blog for containing wildly innaccurate garbage.

It’s just him throwing a mardy fit in the face of reasonable questions – typical fat, useless blogger behaviour -except that this idiot’s stupidity can cost people real money as well as showing the world that he doesn’t feel bound by the truth.

  12. Did Andrew Croxson claim the following in a private meeting with a potential (and previous) shareholder…

1> “the company is ripping market share from Google”

2> “(the company) is close to cash breakeven”

    3> “Turkish success”

…or did tom winnifrith of shareprophets invent those “quotes” for his own purposes?

These are VERY important questions – for existing shareholders, potential investors, readers and regulators.

It’s because I asked these questions that winnifrith created this whiney blog to discredit and defame me.

Why is so afraid to answer such simple questions?

Why is he going to such bizarre lengths to trash me for asking for a simple clarification?

  13. Hand bags at dawn or wot !

All this talk of libel is nonsense .
The first test of libel is that the written word has to be published in the public domain about an identifiable real person using their actual name . Obviously the reputation of the person has to be damaged such that some financial consequence results in the need for damages .
Since an anonymous blogger cannot suffer as per above ………ie they have no reputation that is real , nor have suffered any real loss they cannot possibly be libeled.
The only person above mentioned using his real name and having a real commercial reputation is Tom Winnifrith , who has graciously said he wont sue for libel .
You should be grateful for that as Tom Winnifrith has most certainly been libeled in the above comments .
I suggest you restrain yourselves gentlemen .

  14. Wildrides – you are wrong. There is no such test in UK law. The test is whether or not the victim can be identified from the content.

Many people have succesfully sued when the “name” that was defamed was not their legal, registered name – actors, authors and others who use pseudonymns do it all the time.

As a simple matter of fact, many people have successfuly sued when the author INVENTED a name that was in no way connected to the victim’s real name. If someone wrote a book in which an athelete will “blades” murders his model girlfriend and creates a fale alibi to escapde punishment, they could be sued for libel even if no character in the book was given ANY name at all.

  15. You sir are wrong . I suggest you get yourself a good solicitor .

The people using stage names are known and identifiable in public life by those names and may have suffered true loss of reputation with financial consequense to the way they make their living or conduct their daily lives . Neither of which situation attaches to an anonymous contributor to a BB who obviously seeks, and indeed has the , chosen the cloak of being anonymous . Write under your own name or by the name which you use in your commercial life and things would be different .

  16. use pete : let us know your real name. Though a quick Google of pengipete suggest a Peter Northedge who wasn’t even targeted by BT or Phorm but has just found a cause to attach himself to http://markt50.wordpress.com/2009/04/29/phoul-phorm-strikes-back/

  17. PS For avoidance of any doubt, it is a poster called pengipete who says he is Peter Northgate. If he wishes to out himself then that is his choice to give up his privacy.

  18. wildrides…

    Again, you are wrong.

As the twat posting after you shows (or thinks he has – cos he’s gullible) – it’s possible to identify a living individual even if they only ever use a nick online.

And in your rush to argue, you fail to consider ALL of the possible scenarios.

What if I am known IN THE REAL WORLD as “pengipete” – maybe my stage-name as a musician?

Are you saying that it is IMPOSSIBLE for someone to suffer financial loss simply because YOU only know their nickname from advfn?

Best thing is – this all stems from my asking some twat to redact my name from a post that called me “a hugger”. Why was that such a problem for the tosser?

If he hadn’t been such a twat, I wouldn’t have spent the last couple of days digging around and he might have got away with his pathetic deramping.

  19. I am saying you posted under an anonymous name and suffered no loss because of that fact . However that gives you no protection from any libel you choose to commit upon others. Obviously you would not be posting in the manner that you do if you were using your own name or name that use in daily life which is very easily traceable directly to you.

  20. Wildrides – you are talking shit and you know it.

You made an assertion and made zero effort to provide any link or evidence to support it – which should be a doddle if it’s true.

The more of your ill-informed bullshit I read, the more I am convinced that “wildrides” is yet another winnifrith clone account.

  21. Publish your name and address then ( like Tom has the guts to do ) and wait for the solicitors letters to arrive .
Its easy to abuse people people from a position of anonymity.

  22. What’s that mister twat ex-spurt twatty?

All that shit you’ve been spouting about knowing libel law and you’ve never heard of a norwich pharmacal order?

Now do the world a favour and stop being a twat.

Seriously – you make “Moron of the Month” sound like a compliment. I can see why you’re so impressed with the crap winnifrith spouts.

  23. Yawn …………… just publish your name and address as requested when you get home from School tomorrow and then sit back and wait .

  24. If AHanff wants to continue his nice chat with BTCustomer on twitter he can find him at @blepharon but I think he knows that.
