A kind soul has just sent me the original share certificate owned by Ariadne Capital Limited in a company called Beat.TV Limited. Why does this matter you say? Well it should matter as someone seems to be being defrauded and someone, might just be telling porkies again. Step forward Julie "lingerie on expenses" Meyer MBE.
As you can see below, the original share certificate is from 15 July 2015 and shows ACL (now in administration) owning 97,071 shares and that tallies with companies house filings from that time.
The most recent companies house filing is at 29 June 2017 and ACL is still the owner of 97,071 shares but there are 22,703,679 in issue so that is a stake of just 0.47% of the 40 shares. Now I bring you a couple of further matters to consider.
Exhibit one is the valuation of the ACE Fund at 29 February 2016 and it appears to show BeatTV in there with a 1.2% stake worth an apparent £135,000.
Exhibit two is Julie Meyer's letter to fund holders dated 29 April 2018 where she again claims that here ACE funds owns the Beat TV shares. She adds "based out in LA, and growing nicely". Well up to a point. It is a British company and has twice charged its calendar 2016 year end to delay having to file its 2016 accounts until 31 March 2018. But it still has not filed, as you can see below. Not a good sign.
But the real question is not whether Beat is failing but who owns the shares? It is a question that I have put to ACL Administrator Leonard Curtis. It is not hard, who owns the shares: ACL or the Fund? Julie claims the latter, companies house indicates the former. And if there was a transfer what did ACL ( always needing cash) get as a consideration from the fund ( other people's money). Was this another way of bailing out Ariadne by flogging worthless assets to the poor suckers in Julie's Fund?
And why is Julie claiming 1.2% ownership of Beat when it is really only 0.47%?
More questions that Ms lingerie on expenses will no doubt refuse to answer as she continues to do God's work.
