Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it (other than from ShareProphets). I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.
Following on from a few bearish pieces from Tom on FastForward Innovations (FFWD) that you can see HERE, I have my own views on why what was the “Jim Mellon show” but is fast becoming the “Lorne Abony show” is a no-go investment for me.

Fair points, what’s your view on PulseFlow and SatoshiPay ?
Cynical Bear
@Ali – Pulseflow is very much Jim Mellon’s baby. No idea whether Diabetic Boot Company will succeed but thought it telling that in the most recent RNS, FFWD announced that it will not be investing in the latest funding round so guessing Lorne isn’t the biggest fan.
No view on Satoshi – clearly a hot area but difficult to know which businesses will actually succeed. Again this was a pre-Lorne investment so interesting to see how much support it gets going forward.
Simple Moving Avarice
Bitcoin is technically flawed. A copy of every transaction ever made is held at every node and every time a new transaction occurs a copy is sent to every node. It is clear that this does not scale. If Bitcoin were adopted by a reasonably useful number of websites the bitcoin infrastructure would collapse from storage and bandwidth problems.
Meanwhile it has a useful niche function as an effective money laundering operation. If you thought AIM was full of scoundrels and robbers just wait until you check out Bitcoin businesses!
