City law firm Pinsent Masons acted for Sefton Resources (SER) as it attempted to gag myself and Brokerman Dan (Levi) from exposing the fraud at the heart of that company under Jim Ellerton. We stood up to Pinsent Masons bullying and won that libel case. Sefton caved, Ellerton was fired and we had our costs and damages paid by Sefton. Now I have obtained a leaked email which shows how Pinsent Masons partner Russell Booker urged Sefton to make fraudulent internet postings to discredit myself and Dan. Pinsent Masons claims to be an ethical firm. How can it be ethical if it does not fire Booker at once?

SRA and FCA are teapots made from similar chocolate. If anything SRA are worse. They do not regulate solicitors but act as a buffer to protect them.
There is only one meaning of soliciting – screwing people for money.

He is clearly just a solicitor who believed ( at that particular moment in time ) his client was being truthful with him , hence him saying “to set records straight”

Sure, but posting anonymously – although perhaps a bit yellow – would not necessarily constitute doing so or be tantamount to fraud. I’m guessing the other e-mails you have support this and imply that he (RB) was suggesting a smear campaign. Not to defend Sefton in any way, please understand – I just don’t see how it follows from this one.
