Teathers Financial (TEA) has announced it has made a £100,000 investment at 2p per share in Leni Gas Cuba Ltd. Hmmm…

Is the funding through the app definitely going to be at 5p? Considering Teathers invested £100k at 2p on Friday it makes a bit of a mockery of the line in today’s RNS about private investors being “able to participate in the IPO at the same price and on the same deal terms as institutional investors”.

I know you’re big fans of Teathers but aren’t you a bit disappointed that the first IPO is this one so that anyone who gets involved via the Teathers app is going to lose money and also that TEA’s latest chunky investment is in this POS.
I sense you’re being pulled in two directions here but guess you have to continue to push TEA!

No.
It announced investment on Friday. It made investment in July as part of that 2p round
statement today is factually correct

MMMMMMMMM. HSR, your thoughts on OBT would be good seeing as the RNS has been out nearly a week. If possible, a detailed one would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks Tom. The last OBT RNS was 15th October. The last update on HSR was 1st October as far as I can see. I am a paying customer who supports all your site and have done for years. Regards.

Tom – 2 questions: If they made the investment in July why wait until 16 Oct to announce such a material investment when all other investments, some smaller than £100k, have been announced around the time of the trade and why wasn’t it mentioned in their interims announcement on 29 July as part of post-period news?

Because it isn’t true?
Just guessing.

TW,
Are you going to answer DAVECANDEL’S question posed on 20 October 2015, 16:04?

It’s such a shame that you guys are supportive of Teathers as if this was A N Other random investment company teaming up with Lenigas Cuba to launch their game-changing mobile app (how on earth could retail investors contact their broker before such an invention) you would be ripping into it with abandon a la GSR.
Well if you won’t, I will.
They launched the IPO on the app yesterday trying to raise £50k out of a total raise stated to be £1m. After a “strong” start yesterday reaching over £10k (would love to know how much is real external funds) today they have added a further £2k. It closes tomorrow afternoon and only £37k to go.
A rip-roaring success – no other words for it.
Roll-on the placing to further fund the app, maybe they’ll add a feature so it will put the broker on speed-dial so you can place your order that way.
