There are two very interesting firings today of Nomads. First Teathers Financial (TEA) has binned Roland “fatty” Cornish moving to Grant Thornton and secondly Quindell (QPP) has canned Cenkos (CNK), moving to Peel Hunt.

“Would any well run and honest enterprise want to stay with him after recent scandals even if the FCA does not take action against Fatty (which it should), the stink is unpleasant and taints all by association.”
Completely agree, and good on TEA. Shareholders must be proud of them taking such a stance. As an RRR holder, I am miffed that our CEO/Chairman actually feels the actions of BC to be worthy of defense – not only in private, but also publicly in the recent past on this website during the NEW debacle. Again, good on TEA.

Hello Tom,
Re: Quindell parting company with Cenkos, it isn’t clear from the RNS – or at least it isn’t clear to me – who dumped who.
It could well be that QPP wanted to start afresh with a new NOMAD, but equally, Cenkos may themselves have decided that they wanted to end their association with QPP given all that has been going on there and the collateral reputational damage.
Either way I don’t think it’s a big deal.
All the best,
Steve
Disclosure: Long Cenkos; no position Quindell.

Seems AIM has never been in greater need of folk with the right stuff!
Juicin Drumroll
The irony of any company being led by Jason Drummond being worried about reputational damage from being associated with another AIM wideboy company!!
LOL!!!

We know (because Tom told us) that QPP were looking for a new Nomad before Christmas – that was almost certainly because Cenkos told them to find a new Nomad, but did not actually quit. I would read the change of QPP Nomad today as it taking 9 months to find someone who would have them.
As far as BC are concerned, any company that has them, or ZAI, as Nomad is uninvestable, thus almost certainly it was TEA that gave fatty the boot.
Steve H,
I am not sure I would want to remain long on Cenkos, they will not be able to stop quite a bit of mud sticking to them as this whole thing unravels. At some point AIM regulation will feel the need to demonstrate that it is not the completely useless chocolate teapot that we all know it is. QPP will have been mauled enough by FCA, SFO, FRC thus I would not mind betting that AIM regulation will slap a censure and a fine on Cenkos as a way of deflecting attention from AIM regulation’s own utterly miserable performance.
