Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) is one of the most talked-about shares on the net at the mo. And it’s not just the army of private bloggers who are desperately trying to talk up the share by making fortune teller predictions.

Why did it take so long for the price to shift from 8.25? Same reason; large investors who subscribed to the placing taking profits. The same thing will eventually happen – buying pressure will clear the sellers. Onwards and upwards.

Don’t own any of these Malc but I wish the company and shareholders the best of luck and I hope it comes good for everyone but believe half you read and all you see. :)

So you think the holders of the 262,500,000 new placing shares are in for the long haul like you, Malcolm?
Sadly, that’s not how AIM works. They paid 8p two weeks ago and started dumping at 10p. Most of them probably don’t know or care what AVO do. And not a single solitary individual or institution has bought enough shares to warrant a TR-1 declaration.
As for the directors not being allowed to take part in the placing, shareholders should be asking the Nomad whether he tried to obtain a derogation from Rule 21 (Restriction on deals) from AIM Regulation.

Have been looking at this one also, yes the story is a good one, but I think investors by and large for this kind of stock more pragmatic, and I think the story is still unfolding, and commercial is the key word.
No doubt it will be commercial hopefully, but that is longer term, maybe at this stage one for the institutions, but small PI,s want to make dosh in the shorter term.
Percieved bargains today at 9.65p, to buy, but selling on some good news RNS, perhaps the true sentiment for some not there yet, and we live in uncertain times, IMHO.

Hello again Marvin. That’s because it’s a proton beam – you should be checking out a betatron (or your telly if it’s an old vacuum tube jobbie). Boom-boom!
