Hello Share Twirlers. So George of the Treasury Jungle has decreed that its Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) shares are to be sold off, probably at a loss to the tax-payer. You’ll recall that the shares have to go for about £5 each to recoup the money - that’s nearly £1.50p more than the present market price.

The banks are corrupt (as is a lot of the London financial market) and future litigation is like a sword of Damocles. So far the banks have been let off lightly (fines seem to promote a increase in share price! Clearly the fines are inadequate for the devastation the banks have caused). Lets hope China and India (or others) sue the banks properly; clearly the `West’ knows its return from theft, piracy, nepotism, corruption, cronyism…
