Just watch out for the deluge of Organo Phosphorous compo claims coming . Willie Walsh was wheeled out on the 6 oclock propaganda show that used to be called BBC NEWS to deny pilots and crew and passengers are getting “sheep dip death “ from OP . He was in cover up mode . Its in the oils and fuels that are contained in the Jet engines . Cabin air is syphoned in from the front part of the jet engine ( Think car fresh air system and the smell when you use screen washers coming into the cabin ) so if a small oil leak occurs on the engine you get “sheep did syndrome” Its the same chemical that caused Gulf war syndrome ( op in artillery shells )
Its the next big compo extravaganza like PPI coming down the track .
Most airlines hedge their jet fuels so the low prices of oil are not priced in the “annual results” yet because they are still paying top jet fuel prices at present . However one that does not hedge at all and buys its fuel daily on spot prices is Fast Jet ………. a penny share worth a small punt on African development V African red tape and corruption . Who will win the battle of the bribes versus the “British way” of running an airline remains to be seen .

Sounds like a job for QPP – perhaps it’ll do a Lazarus based on this alone! There’s also the much greater levels of radiation to which passengers are exposed at altitude. Hmm – time to contact everyone’s favourite ambulance chaser methinks…

Re. my last post, just kidding somewhat about greater radiation levels as it’s still insignificant (but give a compensation lawyer an inch…). Unless you’re flying with Ryanair, that is, in which case you get a million times greater dose or something :-)!
