‘Functional food ingredient’ company Provexis (PXS) has announced results for its half-year ended 30th September 2025 emphasising it “is pleased to report on another strong period of progress”. Hmmm – company results announced on deadline day don’t tend to be ‘pleasing’, so what’s the ‘strong progress’ detail?
An announcement from ‘Fruitflow’, heart-health, functional food ingredient company Provexis (PXS) includes that publicised results of a recent successful human study “have helped to generate renewed interest from prospective customers for Fruitflow which are part of truly global businesses” and that it “remains keen to minimise dilution to shareholders and remains focussed on moving into profitability as its revenues from Fruitflow increase”. What though of a current 0.65p share price, down approaching 18% today?

What is that potential and what are the current total sales values?
“Provexis (PXS), the business that develops, licenses and sells the proprietary, scientifically-proven Fruitflow® heart-health functional food ingredient, is pleased to announce it has raised a gross £301,333 via a placing”. Hmmm – sounds like ‘keep the lights on’ money…
On Friday at 4.30 Provexis (PXS) announced that it had raised £240,000 at 0.5p on top of the £350,000 it raised in May and it has now announced that it had opened the offer out to customers of PrimaryBid. But before you all rush ....
If you look at the AIM market it is full of companies that have been promising the earth for years, but have yet to actually achieve much of any real substance.
On 9 June I revealed that POS AIM stock Provexis (PXS) was trying to get a placing away forcing the company to admit that it had secured "non binding committments " for £160,000 to be raised at 0.24p. Non-binding, as in worthless. Today we get even worse news.
Ooops a daisy another day and another scoop and another hugely discounted placing revealed by yours truly. Apologies to Paul Scott if he was suckered into this one too by a ramptastic trading statement on May 31 but with shares in Provexis (PXS) trading at 0.26p-0.29p this perennial uber-dog with fleas is passing the hat around again. Time for a statement hapless Nomad & broker Cenkos?
Yesterday morning, Provexis (PXS) announced it had raised £280,000 through Primarybid.com. I won’t pretend to know the first thing about Provexis, but this looks like a positive step forward in the evolution of AIM. Primarybid.com is a crowdfunding service, designed to end the tyranny of bucket shop placements on AIM.
At first glance it would appear that the daily chart of Provexis is not a great one in terms of the technicals/price action. Unfortunately, it does not get that much better even after closer investigation.
