Itaconix – emphasises “a strong trading update”, but how strong is the bottom-line outlook?

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in high-performance plant-based specialty polymers used in everyday consumer products such as homecare detergents”, Itaconix (ITX) has issued an announcement commencing that it “announces a strong trading update for the six months ending 30 June 2026”. That’s though not for it to decide, so how “strong” does the trading update really look to be?

ITX

Itaconix – “expects H1 FY2026 will be another record half”, but still what will that mean financially?

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in high-performance plant-based specialty polymers”, Itaconix (ITX) has issued an “Update on Trading” including that it “expects H1 FY2026 will be another record half. The board remains confident in the company’s strategy, customer pipeline and long-term growth opportunities… following our most successful year to date in FY2025”. How though does that compare to a currently up to 120p share price, above £16 market capitalisation?

ITX

Itaconix – “pleased to provide a trading update… in line with board expectations”, but how ‘pleasing’ really is the performance?…

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in plant-based specialty polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products”, Itaconix (ITX) has issued a “H1 2025 Trading Update” which it states that it “is pleased to provide”. The shares have currently responded higher to 137p but, with that comparing to 165p at the start of the year, how ‘pleasing’ really is the company’s trading performance?

ITX

Itaconix – argues a US tariffs “favourable position”, but how ‘favourable’ really is its overall position?…

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in plant-based specialty polymers used in everyday consumer products”, Itaconix (ITX) has issued an “Update on US Tariffs”-titled announcement including stating belief of “a net position to continue making gains in the midst of uncertain trade developments” and that its “balance sheet and cash position remain strong”. The shares have currently responded slightly higher above 100p, but what about that comparing to above 250p in recent years?

ITX

Itaconix – “pleased to provide” trading update, but how ‘pleasing’ is it really?…

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in plant-based specialty polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products”, Itaconix (ITX) has issued a “trading update” emphasising that “revenues are tracking towards the upper end of its previous revenue guidance ($6.0 to $6.5 million) and gross profit margins for the full year are expected to be in line with previous guidance (at circa. 36%)” as well as that its major investments “are starting to pay off with the types of customers and revenues that we want to reach profitability and become a large, highly-attractive specialty ingredients company”. So what of a current share price response up to 145p?

ITX

Itaconix – “pleased to announce” interims, should it be?

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products”, Itaconix (ITX) states that it “is pleased to announce its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2024”. With the shares currently responding more than 3.5% lower to 162.5p, how ‘pleasing’ are they?

ITX

Itaconix – trading update, how creditable is expectations “remain in line”?

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products”, Itaconix (ITX) has issued a trading update including that it “is pleased to report that the board's expectations for FY 2024 results remain in line… remain highly optimistic about our future and commercial progress”. However, what is the current reality?

ITX

Itaconix – “pleased to report” AGM trading update. Er, what about the details that dare not speak their name?…

Previously writing on company describing itself as “a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products” Itaconix (ITX), last month I concluded with the shares at 160p still a ‘revolutionising’ former Neil Woodford pick avoid/sell. The shares are currently 155p, but what about that with them up by more than 10% today on an AGM trading update?

ITX

Itaconix – “delighted to announce the launch of two new ingredients”, but how delightful for investors?

Previously writing on company describing itself as “a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products” Itaconix (ITX), early this month with the shares falling below 200p I concluded including now how’s its ‘has the funds needed to achieve our profitability goal’ statement after also it previously having stated intended “move to being cash generative by 2020”!. So what about today the shares currently up more than 4.5% on a “Launch of two plant-based performance ingredients” announcement?

ITX

Itaconix – “unable to reach satisfactory commercial terms with one of its major existing merchandizing customers”. Uh oh!…

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonize everyday consumer products”, Itaconix (ITX) has issued a “Trading Statement” announcement commencing that “following extensive negotiation, it has been unable to reach satisfactory commercial terms with one of its major existing merchandizing customers in North America for supply in 2024”, though emphasising that “enhancing our revenue structure and increasing gross profit margins, while impacting our near-term revenue streams, pave the way for our next stage of growth”. So what about this currently seeing the shares more than 25% lower to below 200p?

ITX

Itaconix – “FY2023 earnings expected to be in line with current market expectations”… omitting that means continuing losses!

Describing itself as “a leading innovator in sustainable plant-based polymers used to decarbonise everyday consumer products”, Itaconix (ITX) states that it “is pleased to provide an update on current trading and outlook, and increased investor relations activities”. How ‘pleasing’ is the trading and outlook it has to conduct increased investor relations activities on then?

Only about 3.5 million files of approximately 6 million Epstein files have been released, and of those released many are heavily redacted by the Trump DOJ in Washington. The answer to your question may be in the redacted and unreleased files. Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the DOJ is permitted to suppress explicit abuse materials.
