Distil – as I warned, trading “considerably softer than expected”. It’s now cash crunch AHOY!

Alcohol drinks brands company Distil (DIS) has issued a “Trading Statement” including noting revenue decline but with Executive Chairman Don Goulding commencing “the business had anticipated lower sales in the first four months of the year due to phasing trends”, but then following with “however the results achieved sit below expectations”. With I previously noting financial outlook concerns, just how bad is the situation now?…

DIS

Distil – after in January “confident that we can continue to build on this growth in Q4”, now announces a Q4 sales slump!

RedLeg Spiced Rum, Blackwoods Gin and Vodka, TRØVE Botanical Vodka and Blavod Black Vodka brands owner Distil plc (DIS) has issued a trading update including noting full-year “double-digit growth” and that “the team has been working diligently to set us up in a strong position to continue to build on this growth in the coming months”. So why currently a 12% lower to 0.55p share price?

DIS

Distil – trading slump, stated to ‘largely reflect’ UK business “remodelling”. Why are we only told now?!

Previously writing on alcoholic drinks company Distil (DIS), in April with the shares at 1.4p I questioned ‘pleased to announce campaign to further build RedLeg spiced rum, how’s the balance sheet now?’. The shares last closed at 1.35p but are currently 1.15p, a £7.9 million market cap, on the back of a trading update, so what’s the position now?

DIS

Distil – trading slump for ‘longer-term more premium positioning’, Or is it?...

RedLeg Spiced Rum, Blackwoods Gin and Vodka, TRØVE Botanical Vodka and Blavod Black Vodka drinks company Distil (DIS) has announced “a longer-term beneficial move to more premium positioning for our key brands” and “we have also progressed our new Malt Scotch and anticipate formally launching the product in the coming months… we remain excited about the Ardgowan investment”. Why then a current share price response to 1.65p, approaching 11% lower?...

DIS

Distil – argues a ‘delighted to announce agreement and partnership’, so why share price decline?...

Previously writing on drinks brands owner Distil (DIS), last week with the shares at 2.4p I concluded that the valuation looked high enough until some further sustained revenue and bottom-line impact is delivered. Today the company is “delighted to announce our agreement and partnership with Ardgowan which we see as a fantastic opportunity to add significant growth to the business in both the short and long term” and the shares have responded...further lower to 2.15p! Why?...

DIS

Distil – Q1 update, are the figures “particularly encouraging”?...

Owner of premium drinks brands RedLeg Spiced Rum, Blackwoods Gin and Vodka, TRØVE Botanical Vodka, Blavod Black Vodka, Jago's Cream Liqueur and Diva Vodka, Distil plc (DIS) “is pleased to provide an update on trading for the first quarter of its current financial year” and the shares have responded up to 2.4p. What does the value proposition look like from here?...

DIS

Distil – full-year results, further potential?

Despite covid response-related inefficiencies and challenges, alcohol drinks brands owner Distil plc (DIS) is “pleased to report another year of increased profit, revenue growth and continued investment in our brands” and the shares have currently responded up to 2.40p. Is there further potential?...

DIS

Distil – revenue up, shares up, profit?...

Alcohol drinks brands company Distil (DIS) has made a “Trading update and new product launch” announcement including “despite relatively muted Christmas and New Year celebrations, revenue increased by 22% year-on-year” in the quarter – and the shares have continued recent upwards momentum, to 2.35p...

DIS

Distil – emphasises revenue growth… but value?

Owner of RedLeg Spiced Rum, Blackwoods Gin and Vodka, Blavod Black Vodka, Jago's Cream Liqueur and Diva Vodka drinks brands, Distil (DIS) “is pleased to provide an update on trading for the first quarter of its current financial year” – and the shares have currently responded to 1.2p, more than 9% higher...

Incorrect Mr Boofit . I support the dissolution of Israel and end of Zionism . I support Jews that are not Zionists , of which there are many living around the globe who obey the Ten Commandments and actually live out what they preach in the rules of their religion and its practise on the ground where ever they live .

How many subscribers have you lost due to your support of Israel ? Isreal is our only real ally in the middle east, labour are doing their best to bugger that up. I would be surprised if you have lost more than a handful of subscribers, even hardcore gaza enthusiast Widerides seems to have repented and is now posting again after taking a sabatical of ten years, perhaps he has seen the error of his ways. Obviously you are always wrong about Ukraine and I cannot work out if you admire tyrant putin as you never say anything bad about the twat but I don't see that as enough reason to cancel my subscription.

Kefi. Oh dear funding ahoy. What price? At 0.5p or 0.4p or 0.3p I would take up my share in any placing if available. We can hope it is funded from cash. We can also laugh our socks off!A move to the main market? Eventually.Usually this kind of announcement would see a 50% to 20% plus jump. With BBMs jumping in, even they do not believe.
