Most recently on company describing itself as a “leading data, insight, and technology company” GlobalData (DATA), in July with the shares further down to around 75p I reviewed ‘how’s its previously-argued “Primed for Growth in AI Age” going?’, concluding ‘with the latest stated with “a challenging macro-economic backdrop in which sales cycles have elongated industry wide” - but isn’t AI booming, and it “Primed for Growth in AI Age”? - at least ahead of 14th September-scheduled results and ‘growth plan’ detail, still avoid’. The shares most recently closed at 71.6p and now the results headlined “Resilient H1 performance and strategic evolution to drive long-term value creation”… and so what of the shares currently falling below 60p?
The 2025 calendar year results from ‘data, insight, and technology’ for organisations company GlobalData (DATA) emphasised “Primed for Growth in AI Age”. With the shares then at 85p, I questioned how confident to really be of that and what of now a further update from the company and the shares currently further lower in response to around 75p?
‘Data, insight, and technology’ for organisations company GlobalData (DATA) has announced its results for the 2025 calendar year headlined “Resilient performance: Primed for Growth in AI Age”. What then about a current 85p share price comparing to approaching 190p at the end of 2024?
Presently AIM-listed, self-described “leading provider of industry intelligence” GlobalData (DATA) has issued an “Update on Move to the Main Market” announcement including that it expects the move on 5th March. With the prospective listing improvement from the AIM casino, what of a share price slightly further down at 95p having been above 120p just last month?
Today GlobalData (DATA), “the leading data, insight, and technology company” announced that it “expects to submit its application to move to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange with Admission to the Main Market to take place at 8.00am on 5 March.”
Already down from above 200p early this year, shares in self-described “leading data, insight, and technology company” GlobalData (DATA) are currently a further more than 5% down to 114p on the back of a “Trading Update and Capital Markets Event” announcement. So what’s the latest and what does it mean for the valuation?
