Checkit plc – trading update emphasises “cash generation and EBITDA profit”, but what about the overall balance sheet position?

Jargon ‘platform’ company (Oops, I meant self-described “automated monitoring and operational intelligence platform for frontline-led organisations” company!) Checkit (CKT) has issued a trading update for its year ended 31st January 2026 emphasising that it has “delivered adjusted EBITDA break-even ahead of market expectations and generated cash in the second half” and “positive adjusted EBITDA of £0.5m in H2… With a lower cost base and a strong pipeline, we enter FY27 positioned to pursue growth”. What’s the detail and valuation with the shares currently more than 7% higher to 18.5p in response?

CKT

Checkit plc – interims argue “on track” for cash flow breakeven during 2026, but even sufficiently funded for that?…

Business jargon self-described “automated monitoring platform for operational leaders” company, Checkit (CKT) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st July 2025 headlined “Significant improvement in financial performance achieved in H1 and further improvements expected in the second half. Pipeline close to an all-time high”. What of a current share price response up to 15p, but still down from a start of its half-year 17p?

Checkit – interims, how confident to be in its argued funded “path to profitability”?

Writing on ‘automated monitoring platform’ company Checkit plc (CKT) in June with the shares at 24p on an announced approach to Crimson Tide (TIDE) I concluded that, with the level of the possible offer it is making, I suggest it’s going to need good luck with those discussions!, and to continue to avoid. What’s the stance now with that approach having fallen away and shares in Checkit currently further down to 21p on the back of results for its half-year ended 31st July 2024?

CKT

Checkit – announces approach to Crimson Tide to create “a market leader in workflow software solutions”. Really?…

Checkit (CKT) has announced a formal approach to the board of Crimson Tide (TIDE) regarding a possible all-share offer at 7 Checkit shares per Crimson Tide share, stating “values each Crimson Tide share at 182 pence… believe it will position the enlarged entity as a market leader in workflow software solutions, leveraging the strengths of both organisations for enhanced profitability and competitive advantage whilst being more attractive to existing and potential new investors”. Is that so?

CKT

Checkit – interims, “on an accelerated track to profitability”…or not?

‘Operations platform for the deskless worker’ company Checkit (CKT) has announced results for its half-year ended 31st July 2023 including CEO Kit Kyte emphasising that it “is on an accelerated track to profitability”. How ‘accelerated’ is this track with the shares currently responding up towards 30p?

CKT

Checkit – trading and “significant” contract update, how ‘well positioned’ is it?...

Previously writing on “operations platform for the deskless worker” company Checkit (CKT), in April with the shares down to 28p I concluded “congratulations on the currently continuing significant cash burn and I’ll wait to see how well positioned the company really is! Currently still avoid/sell”. The shares most recently closed at 23.5p and what of now a “Trading update, notice of results & contract” announcement?

CKT

Checkit – “ahead of market expectations”… but how creditable is this?

‘Deskless workforce’ technology company Checkit (CKT) has issued a trading update emphasising “Annual Recurring Revenue increased by 28% to £11.5m, vs. consensus market expectations of £10.8m (+20%). Net cash at 31 January 2023 of £15.6m vs. consensus market expectations of £15.2m… we expect the positive sales momentum to continue”. What then of a share price of 30p, down from around 45p a year ago?

Only about 3.5 million files of approximately 6 million Epstein files have been released, and of those released many are heavily redacted by the Trump DOJ in Washington. The answer to your question may be in the redacted and unreleased files. Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, the DOJ is permitted to suppress explicit abuse materials.
