I understand that the bar for regulatory action by the FCA on Main Market listed shitcos appears to be set extremely high, but surely it should be taking action against companies who engage in such placings. The culture of companies materially misleading investors ahead of placings, while sitting on adverse price sensitive information, must be rooted out if London is to be considered a credible financial centre.
