AIM-listed Bushveld Minerals (BMN) this afternoon announced the appointment of Beaufort as joint Broker to the company. As fine fellows as they are at Beaufort, and I’m sure they’ll do a jolly good job for the company it does rather look to be a slam-dunk certainty that there is a placing on the way. Back in September 2015 Mirabaud was appointed as joint broker. One wonders how many brokers the company needs!

As normal the morons on lse are in denial . The s.p. Has gone from 12 p to 2 p . They are fantasizing about valuations . At best they will end up diluted to oblivion . They marvel in their research ! A lot of them had invested pre vanadium find which was a stroke of luck ! The reality is at current prices the vanadium is uneconomic . The price has been hammered by increased supply from largo and decreased demand . The catch 22 for bmn is that if they did ever manage to find funding to get the asset out of the ground their own suppy would smash the price downwards. Also the redox battery stuff doesnt work either as that requires low cost production . With the money required to get into production even via brownfield site the numbers just do not add up . Just look at largo they cant pay their debt – they keep saying theres going to be a price rise …but they would wouldnt they or its lights off . Theres little hope of bmn getting to full production as they miss deadline after deadline . To raise 3 mill they have to turn to darwin ….that says it all . Major shareholders selling out . Will the lse mob wake up and smell the coffee ……unlikely ..fantasists …they will keep posting their valuations and rearch whilst ignoring the blatant reality

I think today’s (22/4/16) news on BMN may make things slightly more interesting and certainly falls within the “exploring acquisition opportunities” category. Clearly funds need to be raised but should be an interesting couple of weeks!

Nigel, I wonder if you could revisit this piece now that some of the dots have been joined with the shares suspended and the proposed RTO announced?

Mike C – update on the way, although given the scant detail regarding financials (price? asset financials?) I fear I am none the wiser
