Comments

  1. Nice one TW

    1. Will you push Chepica earn in payments forward by three months?

    2. How much debt facility do XTR have available to use today.

    3. What has happened to the 490m shares issued in advance to MTI for the copper dumps, do XTR get them back or is that now lost due to us dropping the dumps.

    Cheers TW

  2. One more if possible

Gold was average of 1070 in last quarter, today it is 1147, how much difference does that make to profit margins.

  3. 1. Given the long history of missed targets at Chepica, why should we put faith in the new promises being made?

    2. realistically, given the Resources sectors track record on missing deadlines for mine development, study completion etc, do you actually think Manica will produce first gold? What is the contingency on this?

    3. Why are you doing a JV on Manica not taking the whole project?

  4. Can you give us a bit more information about who MTI are, their strategies, approach etc

  5. How can anyone treat this as a serious investment with 8,603,503,521 shares in issue for the size of the Market Cap . Assuming my figure is up to date? then why dont you consolidate down to 86 million or 860 million for example ?

  6. How confident is JN to resolve the grade issue in the processing plant and when will solution be implemented? This will be the key factor to get good profits in the mid/long run.

  7. Why jans forecast profits sound like lotto numbers? For past 6 months none of his forecast has realised.

Also Jan when he acquired okiep mentioned mti will be paid once okiep is proven to be feasible. Yet he paid them shares in September. Why?

Is he going to buy shares now as last year he had excuse of divorce?

  8. A few Questions if you don’t mind:

    1) What happened to the appointments of various Directors?
    2) When do you expect the Alluvials to come online?
    3) What is the net imoact of the failed Okiep project?

    Thanks

  9. What is the carried forward tax losses from the old energy investments (excluding the investment holding in Australia at Julia which I assume is being c/f at cost still) and can these be offset against any future profits?

My current guess is that apart from the “Julia” holding, these losses could be quite sizeable (as the previous management appeared to be serial bad investors in various projects, all of which lost money on a large scale) and if available could shelter any initial and future profits.

  10. JN declared a few months ago that MTI would not sell anymore shares, is this still the case, or are they now selling.

  11. Why have you only invested £5k of your own money given that the last placing was at 0.3p. It’s been low for a long time now so waiting for it to go back to 0.3p really doesn’t wash. The fact that you have only invested £5k sends out a the biggest negative impression possible

  12. Hi Tom

Would you mind asking Jan a couple of questions

    1. Do we get any recompense for the shares issued to MTI for the failed copper dump project. Why were they issued in advance

    2. With well over 8 billion shares in issue, do you foresee perhaps a share buy back or consolidation?

    3. With the recent problems at Chepica, yes call
It bad luck and tragedy but until
We get Manica online we are a one trick pony at the moment with copper dumps ‘dumped’ so to speak, missed targets are a concern, does the company have other projects in mind?

Thanks TW. Keep up the good work!

  13. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  14. Did you manage to get an interview with Jan? I was under the impression it was going to be broadcast podcast today in AudioBoom. Just wondering really.

Also, is he the bloke pissed off with a cat? Maybe this is why you are shy publishing the interview…

  15. So what happened to the interview Tom?

  16. TW – kindly update soonest on status of any interview with Jan Nelson.

  17. The market is full of disappointing behaviour and promises that are hardly met, but let’s not digress.

Tom like any good AIM company director is now following their steps and let down his public with an interview he boast about but has failed to fulfil.

These are the sort of acts that makes me think financial journalists are as bad as AIM company directors and we shouldn’t touch their websites not even with a barge pole.

(Enjoyed writing this Winnifrith inspired message).

  18. Andy

You Mortive TV owning knob-head. This the best smear on me you can come up with. I;m ready for Jan to record when he is free, he seems to have scuttled off pro tem. Prob on lash at Indaba

Comparing a CEO ducking an interview with an AIM CEO lying to investors… you really are a 100% dicksplash

    T

  19. Haha, that provoked the hack.

  20. ha ha good one… but “let’s no digress”… still no interview.

  21. Hey Tom, shares at xtract resources are going tits down. Any chance you can run your critical eye over it and give us your opinion?
